Man i cant wait to try some then! Most i ever did with cubes was like 32 grams or so, a mix between dry n fresh. I was visiting different dimensions based on any random thought i had for what seemed like days then id fall from the sky back into my recliner and see that only a few minutes had passed by hahaxD
The same night my wife said she met the "grim reaper" and was told you dont belong in this place yet and was pushed back into reality.... she still wont take em again to this day haha

lol right man I’m all about whatever works.
It all kind of came together randomly cuz I’d set something up temporarily and it would be working great so I didn’t want to change it. That’s how I ended up using the underbed tub.
Then when it pinned and they started drying out I had to leave so I just ripped open an empty sleeve of plates to lay over til I got back and then they were loving it so I just left it.
I really think a shoebox would do well in my climate, that’s my next grow. Then eventually I want to do the whole underbed tub. Lol it would kick out like 700 doses.

Moving along much quicker than my first one. Mad side pins going on though but whatever the more the merrier!

So after talking yesterday about all the dumb stuff I screwed up my first run I woke up this morning to an empty fogger. Luckily it doesn’t seem to have been out for long enough to fry any pins.

Got some tight clusters in there a.k.a. I got drunk last night, overslept and had to run out the door putting my socks on without checking on my shit. Hoping I didn't do some random drunken adjustments and have a lake in the GH today.

Hey do these seem too wet? It’s hard to get a picture that shows how shiny the caps are plus I took these after letting the dry out for a few.

When I first opened it to check on them the caps were all super slick and shiny from moisture.

They look great but also looks to me like there may be some wet blotches forming on some of your caps from just a bit too much water. Maybe tweak your FAE a tiny more aka..otherwise good stuff!!

Going on day 11 post casing of my Pan Trops.... no sign of pins. Starting to wonder if I'm trying to fruit cobweb.

Some speculations... 1) I cased too early and consolidation is going on under there 2) I let my substrate get too cold. There has been a couple of times where due to some electronic issues temps got down to 75F 3) Not enough FAE. I have passive FAE all the time... fresh air being pumped in with an aquarium bubbler, and some holes around the sides that let air flow in and out a hole in the top. I also have a computer fan that twice a day that sucks warm moist air (and CO2?) out the top and draws fresh cooler dryer air in from the perimeter of the fruiting chamber for 15 minutes. I initially had it set up to do this 4 times a day but it was cooling the chamber off too much. I've got a more sensitive timer coming (thanks for the info JCM) that should allow me to have more frequent but shorter (3-5 minute) FA exchanges.
I'm still hopeful that something will happen... I'll wait another week or 10 days.

The myc was pretty much like that when I cased it...

I'll see if I have some pics on here of what it looks like about now. This is from about 4-5 days ago. The myc is more distributed evenly through the casing but not doing any kind of an overlay kind of thing. Just filling in the casing without coming up on top much. I've been watering with a syringe every 2-3 days but it mostly looks pretty evenly hydrated - not dry spots or really soaked spots. I am probably just lacking in patience.

Thanks Using the syringe is tedious AF... so its good to know I can mist until I start seeing knots.
I have a jar of Wild Coast spawn ready to go, I may start another set of trays this weekend... to replace these if they tank on me.
I'll keep trying...

How much watering are you guys doing with syringes??
I’ve just been soaking it with the mister until the myc stopped colonizing the casing and I saw tiny little primordia, then switched to the fogger only.
I guess it keeps it looking so wet I never thought about watering.
Also pans usually come in waves right? So there’s not really a good time to dunk/rehydrate cuz it’s always got pins?
lol never got that far the first time.

Alright last ones then I’m easing up on the pictures.
It’s like I can check these three times a day and have clearly visible growth each time.
