Just keeping a visual record of performance.  24 hrs of 1qt spawn vs 2qt spawn in a 6qt tray.

My Bispy family. Have a couple more growing atm. Still haven't spawned my first clone, but I already have a second one on Agar. I'm getting better fast!

Hey Pan Party
Question about timing of casing. With those Pan Trops the mycelium is so whispy it seems if I waited for the substrate to turn white, I’d be waiting for three weeks or forever! Should I case when I see the entire surface has been colonized... even if that means it’s not dense white?

In general I guess I’ve assumed that as fast as these guys move, one should case within a couple of days of full colonization.

Also, just to repeat, I’m setting the bar very low on this next grow! I got 5 fruits last time - if I get 10 this time I’ll Consider it a success!
:ducklol:

So far past my expectations for a first try.

Finally got some newer ones coming in with no bruising on the caps, and they’re growing quicker now that things are set up decently.

Yeah I think it is thats why I took these pics cuz I think it’s over.

Based on what i already picked and dried it’ll prob be like 5-6 grams which is awesome.

I’m gonna give it til tonight and prob pull most of them depending how the surface looks.

Ive got like 1/4 of the spawn left so I’m gonna mix that up and it should be awesome based on how this one did in horrible conditions.

I was thinking the other day since they eat manure the amount of grain spawn shouldn’t really matter right?

i think it matters. you will just have to play with it and find what works for you and your set up.  me personally i like a 1.2 ratio

That’s what I use for cubes too.

Has anybody seen pins with brown caps instead of orange??

I noticed this little cluster popped up today between some old aborts.
