pan myc in general is way more aggressive than cube myc. dont go putting an inch of cvg on top of course, but thick for pans. pins wont form right after casing anyway, the myc eats most of the casing and then fruits just fine.

Some pans are actually pretty slow. I grew pan cyans that colonised slower than anything else I've grown. My pan trops on the other hand were verry fast.

I've heard lots of people say they are verry fast. It used to frustrate the hell out of me when I was growing my slow ass cyans. It's probably uncommon but slow pans do exist. My slow cyans also liked to make stones more than fruits so they are probably a rare case.

Yeah it was a wild print from Florida. The fruits were potant as hell though. I had them sitting dry in my sock drawer for so long they weren't even cracker dry anymore by the time I ate them and They still kicked my ass.

I've read that they're slower on grains but ohhhhgoooood it's painful. I'm using oats and they're just crawling along. I've basically given up on trying to grow the trops and Florida's for at least a few months. Taking a month to get a master is not fun for me.
Finally got this Cambo spore syringe to germinate. The one I was most excited about because everybody says they're the most potent, but I had to literally get a chunk of spores from the syringe before anything germ'd

pans for me were always faster than cubes on grains, not by much but still. they really dont like lowered temps tho, under 70F and they really started slowing down, more so than cubes do. at least for me.

Oh right. I dunno how I keep forgetting that. Tropical species. It never gets above 72 where they are, usually around 68.

I don't know the temps. The room is very warm though, and the tub is on a cube tub that's been putting out some serious warmth. I'll check the temps when I take pics.
They're fruiting already, and nicely as well.

Here's those pics.

I only have a probe thermometer, but it reads ~77-78°F.
