Also I had a pint jar of pan trop myc on grain and spawned that to two trays today. It looked kind of weak so I don’t have high hopes....

I am getting a lot of plates lately that look like this:

Seems like some kind of contam, but I can't identify it even after looking thru tons of pics. Rhizopus? Yeast?
Ya'll seen this?

I'm pretty new to pans, have about 80 plates going rn, t0-t3. All look totally normal except one of the t0 plates pinning (yay) and this weird ass one on one of the t1 plates
This looks like a stone, is at least half a centimeter tall. Never seen anything like it, and I've done a fuckton of agar (mostly cubes and edibles and tamps)
I assume this is some kind of contam right? Any idea which one? Or is this something pans do? Should I look at it under the scope or something?
I have plenty of normal, aggressive myc on other plates so I'm not worried about getting anything useful outta this one, I'm just curious and a bit fascinated
And thoughts or feedback much appreciated

Now for something weird! The pan trop plate I transferred from had been sitting for a couple weeks grew this big blue bump. It was like it tried to fruit but grew a blob or stone. I decided what the hell I’ll clone it!

id prolly take some transfers asap from the first plate and toss the rest. plate 1 id take from along the 2-6 o clock areas and see what u get. then plate 2 i thought id take from at first but if u zoom up on it tho almost looks like it has some pin molds in there or something. i see a lot of spec lookin things. idk what do u think asura??
here are some pan cyan aussies from asuras print that will be goin to grain in a cpl more days. this is what i look for

that is kinda goofy lookin and i havnt seen anything quite like that. how may transfers have been made to get to that point?? i cant tell if thats just more easy to see sectoring so to say or if it is some kind of contam. i actually see a few places id really like to take from and see what id get like the 10-12 area

My plates grow lumps instead of pins too. I took one to clone and it regrew after a few days in the same spot even bigger than before.
So stoked on these. I finally got my shit dialed in to where the ones that didn’t abort more than doubled in size overnight and I’ve got a ton of new pins coming up everywhere else.

I got the agar in the pc right now lol.
Do those look like they’re supposed to?? I woke up in the middle of the night and refilled the fogger but then this morning noticed I didn’t lock it back into place right so it was off for like four or five hours. Are the caps bruising or that’s just how they turn grey?
They definitely grew a ton overnight and like I said there’s a couple good pin clusters popping up where I picked aborts off of the other day.
I had left the fogger hose hanging over the sub and didn’t realize how much it would drip when it went off so there was a section soaked which apparently they liked cuz it’s a cluster now.

Any chance this is pan mycelium? Or just mold? I haven't worked with this genus much. This is a transfer from a streak plate i took from a wild print i took while in Peru.

The bubbles is from the agar, i'm not sure why that's happening, but i've had that in the last few batches of agar i've poured.

well asura i just tossed my aussie plates to grain today😃😃😃 so hopefully all goes well with these and i can pull sum good clones to work with. you have no idea how bad i want to put up a solid tray of those beautiful white babies. i swear i dont think ive ever even wanted to fuck any certain woman as bad as i want those things lol.
but my plan now while those are colonizing the jars is to take a break on all agar work for the week and finish up the final flushes on my jam trays. so i can do all my cleaning work that needs to be done. then il pour another 40 plates and some slants and go to work on one of the prints i got from jake while the aussies are on their spawn run and their turn in the fc. so u guys are gnna have to put up some pics to keep the thread poppin and keep me morivated while i dont have nothing good to share.

Is there a reason some of them have lines on the stipe??
It’ll catch my eye in those pictures and I noticed a couple in my bunch also.
