i really don't wanna be baking or PC manure if i can help it. dont quite like the idea of eating stuff that grew out of feces anyway.
am willing to try stuff.
Feces is just excrement. Manure is a fertilizer/sub. I think like most things that use manure, its eating up the bacteria or the poop from bacteria.

Man I didn’t do shit to my manure. I only used part of my spawn Incase it didn’t work but after seeing Cronicr do his thread about bug filled manure and doing some research and finding most hardware store manure is pasteurized at the plants I have it a shot straight from the bag.
I even left a shoebox full of just soaking wet manure/verm out in the open for ten days now with nothing growing on it still.
Based on all the skilled growers in this thread having trouble with pans I’m assuming I got very lucky with this culture. It knots like crazy really fast on plates.
But this is a little cup I made, cased too early so it got overgrown, and just left it in my SAB with another cup dubbed on top.

Couldn’t believe even this was blowing up.

On the left, Ogre (Hawaii) and the little ones on the right are British virgin isles pans.
Pyrex has made things much better. Thanks to both of the print donors.

Let's say I give in to using manure, I don't need to PC or bake manure do I? could I just use manure as part of the substrate?

Cow and horse manure is literally just straw/hay. They are herbivores and there isn’t anything that gross in their dung.
Given that it’s relatively clean, just put it in jars and pasteurize it. Get a probe thermometer and put it in the jar with a foil lid, then put that in the PC and leave the weight off. Put it on medium and turn the heat off when the temp rises 30 degrees and that should give it enough heat and time. It’s not that gross.

Great job JCM! You will have more pans then you know what to so with!
Have you tried them yet and if so, dosage? Most likely will be my first pan trip tomorrow. Been thinking 0.5 (feels a bit chicken, but should take my own advice and start low) just don't want to be underwhelmed after all this waiting and experimenting to finally get to try them.

ive eatn pans plenty of times fresh is the best but dont even bother with anything less than 1 gram dried. anything else in my opinion is a waste of time and isnt even really a experience worth having. 1 gram dried is a very smooth easy trip to handle. they are so much more pleasant feeling than cubes. i gave a gram to a friend who is a scared ass pussy when it comes to tripping and he called me the next day and said that it was the best psychedelic experience he had ever had and now he loves them and wont even touch cubes. 1 gram is pleasant and easy as hell to navigate and enjoy. 1.5 is pretty damn hardcore and can put the even more seasoned tripper at a level of breakthrough. i have not been nor will i prolly ever go over 2 grams. that is a challenge in and of its self and most ppl wouldnt handle it. now this is just my opinion and how i feel. everyone needs to use common sense and be responsible with their dosing. but 1 gram dry is a very safe easy and enjoyable ride. i think anyone who has had them can agree with me. now fresh is a different story i took 11 fresh and that was pretty awsum but is less than 1 gram dried

What’s your normal dose with cubes??
I’m assuming pan aborts are also stronger than mature fruits too right??
