Thanks for the clarification asura. I have far more experience with tamps than pans and one thing I've seen with jiffy mix is it's never contaminated from the surface always from the sub after multiple flushes. I appreciate you guys working out details on ph though your grows verify the work. I bought a cheap ph tester, used it a couple times and never used it again but may work on that down the road.

Speaking of which if you guys wanna play with tamps I'm gonna do a giveaway in the MP soon.

Thanks! btw.. Could you send me a :pm: got a questions for you.

I was so happy I got enough to at least clone and try out Pans.
Then I open my GH this morning and see my tray looking like this..

Think they be ready for harvest in a day or two.
I think I will have enough for my best friend and girlfriend as well now:fuckyeah:

Question: there is a handful of small clusters.. it's a good idea to only take clones from them right? Maybe not nessesary but recommended to my understanding? :takingnotes:
Also, how many clones should I take to have a high chance of getting a decent one? 5-10 then try them all in a tray each?

Thank you very much Psilo:hug:

I just saw this in a thread and was wondering if people in here agreed because I trust your word over others.

i have quite a few experiences with wild Hawaiian Pan cyans.

Overall, they were quite weak. But in a whole bunch, say half a quart bag of fresh ones, they are quite powerful. I really enjoyed them, and the peak was incredible.

Dring them? I wouldnt try it. They are so delicate. Try freezing them. Again, too delicate to dry.

The only way i do them is throw the fresh ones in a blender, aadd some frozen juice, and blend.

Never did a tea or anything, but my guess is the shrooms are too delicate for those techniques.

I know it's always better to eat your mushrooms fresh if you can. But I'm sure I read people drying there Pans all the time in this thread without any noticeable loss of potency? Sorry if I'm bringing up a old topic.

Might require a zoom, but I have some promising clusters of a strain called Pan Ogre (printed from a grow kit in Holland I understand).
Bottom one is a not very virile looking peace river grow, but pins nonetheless. I'll clone a pin and see if I can make it better.

I still like the pyrex trays best, but I have been doing some runs
with the sterlite trays. The pyrex is easier to clean and visibility
is better. The sterlite trays are nice for recovery period before fruiting.
They both have their advantages.

@pud - I would dry them like Jake says and start with a test dose. 1 to 1.5g in
tea is pretty manageable. If you lemon tek it then 0.5g to 1.0g. If you want
god mode, then 2g lemon tek will give you a story to tell.

Awesome. I will get some balls and go for 1g dried.

Lemon tek is just squeezing a lemon over them and leaving it for 10min then downing it all? This is supposedly making it a bit more intense or what's the benefit?

Thanks

So it fast. You mean right after harvest or short time in dryer.

Yeah 15-20 minutes soak. You can use cranberry juice, too. It comes on very hard and is pretty intense.
Tea is smoother, but there is some potency loss. I know people say there isn't...but there is with
pans for whatever reason.

Ok thanks for clearing that up. I normally make tea because the girlfriend gets less nausea. I hope that even when lemon tek the pans she will have a lot less of that in the come up.:leocheers:

She's from Chile so she eats lemon to everything already..

Edit:As I was just pouring some plates of hpoo agar. Make with 0.5g hpoo powder per 1g of MEA. 500ml water, 8g mea and 4g hpoo powder. It's to be used tomorrow when I clone my first Pans.

I read and now noticed that a few tend to mature before the others. I know people freeze tea. But what if I do lemon tek with 1g and make that into 1 ice cube. So that I use them as fresh as possible. Not having to put them in the fridge to wait for the rest of the mushrooms to catch up?
