As I have multiple Pan Cambo Goliath dishes running, I'm planning to make 4x2qt trays instead of 2x4qt trays, so I can compare some of the cultures. I suppose that should be no problem... I'll just have to reduce the LC to 60ml per bag then, right Asura?
This time will work, I feel it

I've been doing 60ml lately for 3.5 quart bags. So maybe do 30?

All right, I'll do 30 then. It's good cause I can use a smaller LC jar. Extraction is easier.
You see, and it's for free

I'm actually a little bummed about going on vacation in a couple weeks. Seems like one of the biggest challenges about pans is getting spawn that's going to perform. I have 5 qts of S African cyan at about 70% that look beautiful and wispy. No way I'll be able to spawn and fruit it before I go before getting to the babysitting stage in FC. Think I'm gonna have to try and fridge it.

Interesting. Ive fallen asleep on pan tropicalis and woken up mid trip. It’s a very euphoric variety. Cool to see there is seratonin in it.

is there really much if any difference between pan cyan, pan bisporus, pan cambo and pan trop potency wise or all they all about the same?? i have seen a shit ton of mixed opinions on this. im just wondering if its more just a personal opinion or if there is any actual scientific evidence to back it up.

well motherfuck me right in the asshole🤬🤬🤬🤬 i woke up this morning and checked my trays and now both sandose trays are throwin out midgets. i can now only hope i at least get a cpl of normal fruits i can try to clone. however when my jams did this i got all midgets not any normal looking fruits at all. like i said weight wise was rather good but i dont care about that. i just want good lookin mushrooms to take pictures of and to clone. jake i seriously hope you can resolve this genetic issue with the pans going around the online community that are doing this. i wasnt even aware of how wide spread this problem was until you told me about it back when i had it with the jams. and the fact that you posted about it just last night when i noticed the first midgets on the one tray is just an example of how bad this issue must really be. well now i can only hope for my bisporus this really bums me out😪😪

jcm, didn't you get your jams from me? Mine are not doing that. Is everyone certain these are genetic and not environmental?
Also...my aussies didn't drop spores. I think I've inbred these fuckers tarded. So, no Aussie prints headed your way. Sorry dude.
I do have fresh Wild Coast and Blue Springs, though.

i do have some jams from u that i have ran last and am running now however i had a syringe from a vendor that gave me dwarfs but like i said i did like them and saved the culture incase i ever wanted to play with them again. but the jams i currently have on agar are from clones takin from the print i got from you. the sandose syringe thats giving me midgets now came from the same vendor and im sure we all know what one that is. still the best vendor for spores if you ask me and im not mad at them in any way like u said shit can just be inbred retarded eventually. im just bummed on the sandose was all cuz i was looking fwd to them. but hell ya id love to get hold of the blue springs i already have wild coast from u

My pan jams grew normal from you asura. This is the first time I've seen these 'get on the ground' pans. I've got wild coast ready for grain and a bunch of older Workman pan prints. F2 British Virgin islands are ready to spawn today, woo hoo!

Hey ya'll, not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I thought it might be nice to have a "quick summary" of growing pans that I could point people to that are new to the thread:
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26524100
It's kind of crazy, but this thread is well over 600 pages now. Ain't nobody got time for that.
Suggestions are welcome! I am sure I left out a bunch.

That looks good asura, like a quick “catch-up” having a tech as a guide for growing pans is great but with pans it’s much more about learning and practicing working with them, to get a feel for what that want and needs, what they should look like smell like how fast they should be moving etc, With cubes it’s much easier to just write down directions for people to follow.
Jcm your coverage is getting better and better, keep it up bud!
So the cam (sandoze) X trop (Australia) venom trays are both doing pretty cool things. Both took on a lighter color The one tray they are still pretty dwarfed but there is definitely a visible stipe and cap, Unlike the uncrossed parent iso which are just dark colored mutant wavey caps. In the other Trey it actually looks like some of the smaller pins resemble more of the tropicalis, it will be interesting to see what they do!

ya 600 plus pages is a lot of reading it took me a long ass time i know that. but ya asura i do think something like that is a great idea. however in order to keep it from just becoming another 600 page deal itd b great if only a few of the best pan growers could add to it in anyway. that way it stays fairly small. maybe you and jake could figure something out and put something together as i think you guys have some of the best and proven pan write ups on the site and are the ones who are most active blue helix has great shit too as do some others but i just dont really see them on anymore. hell idk i think its a good idea tho

rite on thats cool too. i know the questions i get asked the most have to do with what to look for on agar and on grains as far as pan myc goes and then about the different fc methods. it may be a good idea to put up some good pics of pan myc to help ppl compare theirs to. as for the fc questions i always suggest to ppl a properly set up martha/greenhouse per jakes write ups is best but that you can use really anything as long you can keep the proper temps with lots of moisture/humidity and evaporation. so maybe include some good starting environmental parameters with maybe some pics of various fc setups that people have came up with. thats about all i can think of you pretty much got everything else covered. if u do decide to put up any pics il b happy to contribute any that i may have
