I would have been happy with 3 weeks for these pans but it has been 3 and I even heated my room up to 72-74 after the first week.
My Cubensis fully colonize in a week but I use about two whole plates of agar wedges, but one strain of pans has taken a month and their still not 100%

My bisporus is very slow on grain but it colonized my hpoo sub in just like 2-4 days. I used a 1:1 ratio as well
Hpoo 40% verm 40% straw 15% gypsum 5%

Hey guys. How do these jars look. I am thinking about spawning them to pasteurized manure/verm/gypsum later today in trays. Please let me know.
Thanks

Looks bacterial, the mycelial growth is inconsistent throughout the grains, This could be due to overly wet grains and also improper sterile techniques.
Did you use a spore syringe to knock up those jars? Looks like you have a SHIP on those lids. Next time, spend some time growing your spores out on agar, it'll save you a lot of stress.
You can still spawn those jars to bulk trays, but don't expect a whole lot. Spawning bacterial jars usually ends up in contams popping up on the surface of the sub during pinning, which will inhibit their growth.
It happened to me with my last tub, that's why cleanliness during incoulation is such a huge factor in a successful grow.

I don't think there's a need to do that, Pans will have enough moister from the bulk substrate.
They're small anyways lol, so it wouldn't loose a lot of moister if it fruits I guess..

Thanks teemo. Are ppl doing the azur method, or is it preferred to let it consolidate?

dunking is more about what is lost colonizing, much faster leap off and colonizing with a dunk.

After reading most of Pan logs, i see that most and also FF and psilo would choose to let it consolidate just to make sure all of the sub has been colonized.
This is my first grow of pans, and honestly it takes off, its been 5 days and its fully colonized on top, but i see some parts still colonizing in the bottom, i guess thats why most choose to consolidate it, just so it can take hold of everything. (Also reduces the risk of contaminants that can devour any uncolonised parts)
Edit: That's if I remember correctly lol, but anyways I'd prefer to consolidate it for abit, wait for Cronicr or any trusted cultivator to reply though.
This is only my first grow for pans

Got my first pins fellas only issue is that I've also got a dime sized (visible) spot of trich barely barely starting to spore it hasn't quite gone green yet and I'm not sure if I should cut it out a few inches or if I should salt it What are your thoughts?
EDIT - first Pan pins
