Nah it's no biggie. I just have so much shit in the pipeline it doesn't matter anymore. I'm getting it down to where if something goes wrong, it's just a 5 day wait until the next thing.

All my zap cakes are going strong. I'm gonna fruit them in a couple of weeks.
CBK gave me a sandose swap and those plates are looking good. I've always wanted to grow it.

When it comes to cloning wild specimens, for example a very large cyan, is there high risk of it being a poor fruiter? And similarly what will be the likely nature of the mycelium, if it is at all predictable?

I had some substrate left in my bags after spawning 3 trays and thought I might aswell put it in one of my glas lunchboxes. The trays are looking great 5 days after breaking the subtrate up and putting it in the trays. But this one looks different from the big trays.
Any comments appriciated? Is this ok?

The spot in the center looks funky but could just be the pic, let it ride a bit.
Getting some decent pinsets but doesn't look like they'll get very meaty. Hoping to at least get some good clone candidates for the next round.

@Puduwoke Try cutting your straw into smaller pieces. Its a pain in the butt (but) your mycelium will colonize it faster and more evenly if the pieces are all more or less the same size

Well this is embarrassing but fuck it. It's looking pretty likely that I spent the last month painstakingly nurturing Tampanesis thinking it was my beloved P Bis. I was wondering why the sub was looking lumpy, looks like sclerotia pushing through. Must've mislabeled a plate or something. 10 trays of spagetti.

Glad to oblige. I don't even know why I would still have a plate of tamps lying around I got burnt out on harvesting those noodles.

I like tamps as much as bisporus. A little bit weaker but not by much. They can also get quite big sometimes.

BTW Grimsweeper, thanks again for these genetics.

No problem dude that's a hog you got there.
Don't want to knock tamps to anyone I just grew a ton of them already. I only have a gram or two of pans left I've been coveting for special occasions. Still have a little half pint master of african cyan I'll expand in a couple days and start over with bisp.

Yesterday I asked about my small tray that looked of to me with all of my zero experience with Pans
Today I cased my trays that I'm more hopeful about. Any comments on how you think it looks is much appreciated
Tray #1 is the one I like the look of the most
  After casing:
Casing is 50/50 peat and verm with a PH of 7.8
Tray #2 and me have less of a connection, but I'm always trying to stay positive with my mycilium/mushrooms

Tray #3 (plastic tray)

Guys, I have gotten an idea and would love to hear if any of you have tried it before.
It goes like this: Let's say you have some nicely pasteurized shit that you let sit for many days and it's full of microbes. Do you think you could prep more shit and instead of pasteurizing just mix it with the pasteurized stuff? Or is pasteurization always necessary?
I will probably try it out anyway but wanted to hear opinions/experiences.
