Btw, Agar -> grain w/ panaeolus takes about a month to colonize entirely Esp. If you didnt shake after dropping. (I don't shake, just let it rock)
Panaeoli doesn't like to be abused/beat..

I'm at work I'll throw one up when I get home tonight.
Temps were mid 60s the first week. Second and third week were and still are 74 degrees.
My filters aren't the issue. My grain isn't the issue. I didn't use soft water.
I never shake after throwing a wedge in because when I have done that in the past the wedge usually sticks to the lid and I can't get it off without going back into the sab and opening it. I rocked it a little bit. I tilt the grain so it goes against the glass on the side.
Everything is slow as fuck for me except oyster and ganoderma. The piopinno was fast also

Damn I'm so happy, nearly done with my final exams, and when i came home today i see this sexy fucking even growth.. AT LAST! Picture isn't that clear, seems like the camera is focusing on the scratched lid instead of what inside.

And this is after shake of one jar.

Have you introduced fruiting?
Cus i read after casing you have to fruit straight away.
And i don't think you should mist now, the casing would give the appropriate humidity for them

yeah they were put into fruiting the day of casing. I have to mist for now though cause my heater is drying everything out.

I had planned on doing four varieties of Pan, however this is the only one that's doing well on grains. I hadn't shaken it yet so I did after I took the pics, all the other jars have like golf ball sized chunks in them. I think I'll just expand this one and do a mega Pan Cyan Goliath grow. My spores aren't from anywhere too legit, fsre I think so who knows if that's actually the variety as I'm pretty sure that camboginiensis is the only Goliath?
 forgot to post these originally.
I have the worst time working with Pan spores though, especially my vendor syringes. They grow nothing but bacteria, even if I put a drop or two on a swab and then to agar. I thought that it was this thread where you were talking about softer agar recipes but now I can't seem to find it? I'm probably not looking enough. How much agar do you use for 500mL water Mr Fox?

Weird. Your using hoo and straw?
My bisporus is very slow on grain but it colonized my hpoo sub in just like 2-4 days. I used a 1:1 ratio as well
