Today I prepped some straw and hpoo.
I'm out of peat moss now tho. I was wondering if someone else that's located in Europe could tell me where I can order peat moss from? I have 2 bags almost finished colonizing ready to be broken up into trays. But I want to be right behind those in case something goes wrong. So Im currently PCing 2 bags of straw, hpoo and vermouth and a little bit of oats. Will PC for 3 hours and pour Pan Ausi LC into it infront of my FH tomorrow morning before work. About 100cc of LC for each bag. Bag weight 850g each.

Oh and I inculcated 6 PanCakes yesterday aswell. I'm not giving up until I got my first Pan fruits!

Hi guys. Total noob here. I've been lurking for about a year on different parts of the Internet and now I'm just getting started with the practice part of this hobby. Long story short I have some pan cyan estero on agar righ now (didn't germinate yet) and since I have other projects going on I'm looking for a low tek,low space way to fruit the pans. I remember reading a few months ago about someone growing them on straw in a bottle tek with a plastic bag on top. I'd like to do something like that up to a small sgfc or maybe even a PMP kind of thing since I had an aquarium and still have the equipment from it. Any advice will be much appreciated.

Prepping my first batch of pan bags using Asura's recipe tonight, and just heard the dreaded "pop" from my PC. And if it's not bad enough to know you just wasted a bunch of time and materials, it's having your apartment stink of boiling horse shit and knowing you've got to clean out a PC full of shit-soaked wet towels once everything cools off. Did everything I could to avoid popping, and it wasn't even during the cool-down - I think the weight just jiggled a little too much when it was sitting right at 15psi. Fucking prestos...

Thank you. I know there's a lot of info out there. And that's confusing, but the links you have provided narrowed it down. I'm seeing some action on one of the plates today and I guess I have about a month to set up my FC. Thanks again.

Sorry to hear that . I blew out my first two rounds of bags .
I never have them pop anymore . What I do is squeeze most of the air out by wrapping the bag top around itself (filter patch facing out) and then I seal 2x -don’t worry about folding it super nice .
Next I grab the front and back of the bag and pull them away from each other (filter patch side and behind it) make a pathway above the substrate for the steam to escape via the filter patch , make it as wide open as you can . Make sure there are no layers of bag in the way , you should be able to see your substrate through the one layer of plastic next to the filter patch . The steam can now safely escape . I also like to put a rubber band on each end/side of the bag to hold it in place .
I also don’t run more than 3 bags at once in my 16qt.
This works for me and I haven’t popped a bag since my first attempts .

Couple T1's... I can feel the neglect for my cubes starting to brew...

Not terribly fast-moving for 10 days in, I would think? Room temps are probably around 73-75°F.
