Mine all did that in the Martha but the mono fruited full size in five days. I just bumped my temps up higher in the gh, seeing if that helps the next trays. Initially temps were 70-77 now I'm closer to 75-81. Was trying to be cautious running this oil heater but it's been pretty consistent. Spawning two more pan jam monos in a few days can't wait. The last mono was easy and yeilded better than my Martha trays.

Jake the temp is 82 degrees. And spirit do you have a log of a pan monotub grow? I'd love to try running these sandose in a mono. Are there any special modifications needed to do so or just run it like you would typically for cubes?

It was my first mono and my first time spawning pans. I used an unmodded tub (I modified it a little) and it really did it on its own. I didn't log it bc I didn't think it would work. Knowing what I know now I think the next ones will be better. The only mod I did was a trick I use to keep my snakes from escaping, I hold the lid down and drill two holes one on top of the other through the lip of the tub. The holes are just big enough for a finish nail. When I spawned I pinned the lid down until it was colonized then when I introduce fae I lift the lid and pin the nail through the top hole which holds the lid in place but gives me an even 3/16 gap all around. This let's them still be stackable if need be.

The only difference I see is that my monos are in a gh with my Martha instead of in an open room but it was way easier than my trials with the Martha have been. My rh in the gh is around 30-50% bc of the Martha evaporating.

Could have been beginners luck. I'm still figuring out what I'm doing. I've got a sexy tub of aa+ pinning right now using the same lid design. That will be my first cube mono. I abandoned monos bc I sucked at them but I'm going back and relearning everything I failed at before. Really it's been bc of the advice I've gotten in this thread and in asura's thread that I've grown any pans at all.

So did you run a Pan grow with unpasteurized Jiffy Mix or so? If that works, I'll try it.

Here's how I did the gap on the lids, idk if my description of the nails made any sense. Just tried to make the top hole as close to the top of the tub lip and the lower hole close to the bottom of the lid. On a tub with a taller lip a few holes could be drilled for adjustability but these two holes are working for me.

I'll be spawning a pan jam mono tomorrow to try it again.

I have a fan running 24/7 pointing up in the gh. I was playing with my fan settings and the lid gap but with it on low I don't really have to do anything. With the fan turned up any higher just tended to dry the tubs out.

The three cube monos that are in there have been misted good once bc I fruited at spawn and my coir was on the dry side of field capacity. I haven't had to do anything else with them.

The sub in the pan mono was just hpoo/verm and it was not ideal. I should have watered it good before the first pins but they snuck up on me and I didn't know what to expect. I think pinning the lid down while it colonizes will keep it from losing so much moisture initially. I do like the lid idea but everything else about that tub could have been done better.

I well describe your pan grow the same way my coworker and friend described his first mushrooms trip for me (which was 4g PE tea 2 days ago, he's a big boy)

Him:..."WOW!"

Edit:oh and has anyone stored Pan LC in fridge and if so for how long? Currently have 3 different stored.
