Dude Komodo shrooms? I’m coming looking for those down the line when I learn how to grow these things.
This pan myc is so fast compared to cubes. That bottom left colony from my t1 is looking even better.

Constant of 95 rh is pretty high, pans need lots of fae and surface evaporation

Well that’s the thing I fluctuate my humidity to maximize evaporation so they can handle dips in the humidity however they will dry out if you keep it dipped for too long that’s why foggers are so helpful to run without one you will have to increase your FAE and then be more on point with your hand watering do you want to keep your casing wet but always evaporating

I actually have an ultrasonic coolmist with a tube attached to it that we used for an event a while back. I can taper the tube down to 1 inch and fit it inside the tub if that would help things. Would it not make the surface too moist or keep humidity too high?

Hmm.. maybe I got all this wrong then. I been trying to keep my GH at 98%RH and my InkBird controller runs on again at 93%RH.
All this takes about 10 min off and 2 min on. I use a 3 disc ultra sonic humidifier.
I currently have empty trays in there to test. After 48 hours the have water droplets all over them. Not pooling but a lot of drops.
If I understood you correctly maybe I should try keeping my humidity controller say around kick off at 95 and on at say 90 or sometimes where I do not have water at all on the trays anymore ro make sure I have a lot of evaporating?

Bisporus hopefully ready to case tomorrow. Tried a thin coir top layer on 2 trays to level out the straw that could've been cut a little finer.

Puduwoke this time around I'm taking the inkbird out of the equation and relying more on timing the humidifier with the fan for humidity and evaporation. Just using the inkbird sensor as a guide not a on/off controller.

Thanks Northman, good luck. I grow them just not well. This run I've done a lot of re-reading jake, asura and Mary's write ups. All my trays are looking really nice so far.

Idk if this helps you but my fogger turns off around 93%. Then I let it drop all the way to 78% before the cycle starts again. My trays don't dry out or fill up with water. There's a fan running in the gh and a fan that comes on when the fogger turns off. This is my second try and I barely know what I'm doing but I'm getting mature fruits, maybe that gives you an idea where to start.

Helps me out a lot thank you man! Have you ever timed the cycle if so how long does it take?
In my head I didn't want the RH to drop under 90%. But I guess because we use a casing that isn't the end. Since the RH right at the surface is what we care about right?

Yea but it's so frustrating to get less than 100mg of dried Bisporus for half a liter of substrate or more.. Fucked up.
