guys, what do you think about this to use as a pasteuriser? I could just load the trays with the sub , set the temperature and a timer.

We use these at work to keep meals warm (I'm a cook in a big hospital kitchen).
Not sure, the center /middle of these pots doesn't get as warm as the outside. We fill them up with water, and then the water is brought to a boil. While it's almost 200°F at the edge, the center is no more than 180°F.
Sure you can mix up the substrate a few times during the process.

I don't why they are so small. Are they Pan cyans? Genetics? or my substrate was too dry that's why they are so small?

Pan cyans are small.
I think they will keep growing a few inches more though.

They will grow some. Also I have noticed it harder to get good coverage on really small trays and the fruits are smaller. The really big ones I’ve grown were mostly bred for it

I have another substrate going in a bigger tray and they are still small. Either genetics or the substrate was not pasteurized at field capacity i guess

I’m right there with you man.
Just got some germination on my Jamaican plate.
My main goal in life is now to eat something other than cubensis.

Lol yeah that’s what I said too.
I had a friend ask me when they’d be ready yesterday and I told him idk a couple months at the earliest I just got the spores...then I got home and bam there’s the myc.
These have a much quicker grow cycle than cubes once they get on grain right? I still need to reread everything but I remember them being crazy fast in the tek.
I just made lc with that z also, was hoping to have it on grain by now but it was the main casualty of my plate fumble last week lol.

How long did it take to germ? I think my fastest time was around 2.5 days.
From a wedge, the time to pins is about 25 days if everything goes perfectly. First flush at 28-30 days. Not sure about the time line if you use grain spawn.

damn man that was fast lol gtta love fresh spores rite😃 but also glad to hear my zs r goin good for y too. but ya they can move pretty quick man like i said tho especially with them jams u really wanna make sure u get that good whispy growth. so take ur time and make the transfers u need or you can run into mad fuckin overlay and get nothing when it comes time to fruit. and ya they went pretty quick on grain also. i think was around the 10 day mark for my qt jars. not sayin it will b the same for u but asuras timeline is pretty damn close to what i had. just take ur time and read asuras and jakes and blue helix threads n posts. they have done all the work and have gone through most of the failing for you already. so if u follow them there should b no reason u dont pull a good cpl trays and find yourself a cpl nice clones to make the next grow a hell of a lot better and easier. i mean it worked for me so it can work for u too😃

Just to be clear, I know SS from back in the day and hold him in very high regard. Don't need you old timers thinking nooby is taking shots at your buddy who's not here to defend himself. Easy as Cubes is subjective though

Right on yeah I’m totally confident I’ll have no problem up til fruiting, is it worth converting a big SAB size tote into a hc with a fogger or something like that?
I’m pretty much expecting to get like two sickly mushrooms or a couple aborts my first run, but if I get even enough to have a medium dose I’ll be super happy. Clone would be nice too.
I swiped the spores on the 27th so about three days to germ.

After several failed attempts I'm back at it. Going the Asura route again after falling with PanCakes.
I got a stirrer..
