Left side, Your trays look too dry, you want to run the moisture in your casing up so there is always something to evap. Notice how damp my trays look in my pics. As for you sub lean heavy on the straw side at first 60/30 (straw over dung) is a good starting point you can adjust this depending on the fluffy-ness/age of your manure but often times that mix is optimal.

Thank you. Yes when I opened it I found half of the sub was moist and the fruits looked like they were maturing but one side was dry enough that the fruits were just starting to wilt a little. The sub was 50/50 hpoo/coir. I'll be buying a bail of straw for the next ones for sure. I was having to mist this tub (the walls not the sub) so I'm not sure if I didn't have it at capacity or if my casing was too thin. Casing was peat/verm. Coverage looked like other ppl have said, sprinkled until it barely covers the myc, but as time went on I can see exposed grains and the casing has settled into the sub.
This is the harvest. Does everyone else's dried pans look like burnt lawn clippings or are my fruits just small? I could feel the fruits on the moist side had meaty rigid stems but the rest were more like marijuana sprouts stems. I learned a lot watching this tub though.

Yup cracker dry pans are very small, they go a long way but loose potency faster than cubes while stored. I like capsules and honey

Thanks! I might keep trying my current genetics with a better / wetter sub then and bring up new genetics in parallel.
I am also going to just throw my overgrown grain jars into an FC with some casing to see if I can at least get a fruit or two out of them to clone or print. Can't hurt to try.

All attempts to salvage the Pans I had going seem to have aborted out with no further signs of growth. Gonna clean everything well and give it another go rather than fuck off and risk wasting time and contamination of my sapce. I'm set on having a successful Pan grow especially since my B+ grow ended up performing far better than anticipated and I have more cubes than I need for a good while.
Probably going to try to use the shallow aluminum baking trays (maybe glass?) rather than shoeboxes, as the sub I had on those were 3-4 inches in depth. Don't have the space for an exotic setup so I'll try to fit what I can into a 64qt tub loaded with perlite. Got a while until anything is ready to spawn, so more time to learn and consider my options.
Jake your various trays really give me something to aspire to, so thanks for your input in this thread and your advice thus far along with everyone else.

Guys, how detrimental is to store a pan cyan culture in the fridge? would it weaken it?

And i meant it because pan cyan are tropical species and the myc is not as "stronger" as cubes and both are tropical. So yeah do you guys store your Panaeolus cyanescens petris and slants in the fridge?

They are fine in the fridge, insulated lunch box will help control temp swings from opening and closing the door

Pan cultures are harder to keep than cubes it seems they move faster so it makes sense the would experience senescence quicker also. As for putting in the fridge I’ve never really tried it I’ve always continued to run ISO’s I like and when I stop I loose them older ISO’s that have been transferred for months do seem to start to loose their luster. I’m going to try and make spore dilution off a print taken from a dieno iso and breed with another Alabama iso I’ve been using and see if I get a “re-charge” I got tons of prepped sterile water and lots of choice pheno’s to play with. Ill post up on it as I go in here

No the whole point is for long term storage, they would eventually pin and become useless

Why a monoculture would become useless if the slant pins? In a MS culture you just clone the pin that comes out from that slant no? :shrug
EDIT: I mean yeah in a monoculture if it pins it wasted "energy" to do that so you don't want that i guess. Less efficiency.
