Thanks y’all but def don’t stop lol Now that I have located my ideal cultures and gotten into my isolate and my seventh and eighth transfer dishes as well as dialed in my grain hydration and things have really come together. just a slight overhydration of the grain really affects the yield and since I’ve changed my grain mixture up a few times in the last few months I’ve had to rediscover my tech to get it where I want it. But basically It all starts with perfectly hydrated spawn. I have dropped the simmer and just do 24 hour soak then hang in a screen over my sink for about a hour (wipe them bottom with a paper towel a few times while hanging) then spread out on table under ceiling fan And go about my business and every 20 to 30 minutes I will sift through it with a paper towel trying to dry the external moisture off of the grain. This usually takes a few hours keep turning it over you will see the top will look dry but mix it back in and repeat until when you run your hand through it your hand no longer feels wet or slimy at all. The next step is a good dish. I grow out most healthy dishes that I transfer from so since starting over with my genetics a few months ago I’ve grown out transfer 1,2,3... now that I have ISO’s of most strains and I’m on transfer 5/6 with the few I don’t everything goes much easier. Dishes fully colonize in seven days, jars and seven more bulk seven more than three days till pins. I still slow Pasteurize my bulk. I put in an electric cooker at 162° for about 15 hours (because it takes several hours for the core temperature to hit 160) I didn’t always run it so long but I noticed a slight improvement in contamination resistance as I did combined with allowing my bulk to sit at least a week after Pasteurization. I keep the sub around 2” thick and paper thin 50/50 +cos (not needed) casing. Doing it this way really you’re only getting one good flush. you can hold out and get sparse additional flushes But pans moves so fast it’s more worth your while to just ditch it and make room. You can thicken your substrate up to about three 3 1/2 inches and you will get better additional flushes however your chance of contamination increases and it’s harder to get full canopies all at once. Then it’s all about maximizing evaporation there is a lot of air movement in my tent

Are you running that in a Martha? If so your problem is the walls on your tray are too high you want your sub to be just slightly below the sides so Air does not get trapped. But you also do not want to exceed 3 1/2 inches substrate sickness at the very most using the correct tray and a Martha makes a big difference I was actually very surprised at the change in performance when I tried to run different trays even the same style but an eighth of the size had problems just because of how little water the sub could hold. Kinda looks like a SGFC if so the same will still hold true. You don’t want air trapped above your sub

No Martha, just a shoebox inside of a 57 or 64qt tub with more Perlite in it than I had before in the dub tub setup I had which was too large to maintain the humidity in. The sub in the shoebox is barely over 3" including the thin casing layer.
Trying to decide how much effort is worth changing the conditions of this shoebox to have anything resembling a success, or just taking what I learn for another attempt from scratch with a better plan the next go around. Was hoping to get just about anything from the Pan shoebox since it seems a little goes a very long way.

if your gnna put it in a humidity chamber type fc id put it in some kind of plastic or glass baking trays and then put that inside a sgfc or a monotub type fc. but u gtta make surebu have a lot of fae. u do that and thin out ur sub to a 2 inch max i bet ul have way better results

What's the deal with the half and half caps? Might just pick these as they look a hell of a lot better than the other little pinset ended up.

Yes you can dunk/ spray and get another flush it’s just not alway worth it if you have something else on deck and need the space after pulling a canopy there is a big drop off in yield @ 2” here is pan Australia coming up after I harvest canopy (tray with the Australian dishes sitting on top)
I’ll still get sum fruits but nothing near a canopy
