What are you seeing Jack because I'm missing it?
Looks ok to me. From the pic the fruits seem a little small like there could be a FAE or moisture issue but there's a lot of pins coming in.
@spelunking you can water the casing with a syringe if it starts drying out. Just avoid getting the caps wet. But based on color of the casing it doesn't look overly dry to me.

could be/hope i'm wrong. here's a quick markup of what i'm seeing.

highlights next to bruising stipes and aborting pins. i've fried entire trays, it looks familiar. i think they're drying out. it's true they really don't like being misted tho, so there's the dilemma. maybe one $10 ultrasonic misting puck, in a bottle of water inside the tub next to the shoebox?
again, i hope i'm wrong. asura is surely better at this than i am. best wishes, man.

Good eye, Jack. I think you are right and I was being overly optimistic.
I can imagine that all those new pins will have aborted by now if the sub was too dry. Hopefully not. I'm really rooting for all these newer folks that are starting to get results.
In the context of a first cyans grow, I'd have been happy with it.

Also look at the caps, the rh is on the low side, that’s the only thing about hand watering, if it’s super dry out it’s gonna beat the fruits up sum. A fogger would fix things but you will have to dial in.

Thanks for the observations. Most of the stuff on the left side of that photo that you highlighted was from where my sensor tipped over and crushed a bunch of pins, but the rest is valid as well.
I do have an ultrasonic humidifier and I'll be home to keep an eye on things, so I'll try to keep on top of it and see what I can do.

Looks like we have a weapon against overlay. Someone on another site was getting aggressive overlay and just cased it with sand. Managed to get his tubs to fruit.

I'm totally filing this technique away.

I'm sure the sand is at field capacity. I've been using it lately, but not just straight by itself.

Another progress report. Obviously the ones that got smushed by the sensor are aborted, but maybe there's still some hope yet.

u got alot of pins there man for sure. but they r delicate lil fuckers so b careful with em. i wouldnt even do anything at all to them. and id only water by syringe if they really really needed it. i just started with pans myself but it seemed like they did better when i didnt fuck with them at all.

Missed the print on my 3rd flush Jalisco then another dwarf tray of pan jam (I failed to get a successful clone last time and I want the genetics I’m going to use them to breed into of these unique tall thin looking senguio picture next to it the result should be interesting. The other tray with a better looking pin set is pan tx. Both the tx and senguio are first transfer ms and while I love getting canopies when I’m just looking for genetics to clone sometimes I like getting these lower yield trays, I get what I need and I don’t have a ton to print (unless I need prints of that strain of course) and I don’t have a excess. Pans degrade faster so I don’t like to get all my medicine at once but try and space it out so I always have fresher meds. I’ll clone both these and attemp a cross with the mutant jam on both most likely.

when you say degrade i assume you mean loss of potency??? even when in proper storage you know cracker dry vac sealed in an air tight dark container in a cool environment with desiccant packs?? what kind of noticeable degradation have you experienced and over what time line??

I mean yeah if there are untouched but if you’re constantly going in and out of them for medicine they will degrade usually 4 to 6 months I’ll start to notice a drop

ok cool good to know. what about capsulated? if you were to capsule a shit load at one time and seal and store in multiple bags as mentioned above say like 50 per bag would all bags hold their actives until being opened or would they start to degrade simply from capsuling them?? i notice cubes seem to be ok but i am just starting to get into pans and havnt had a chance to do mich with them yet
