I guess it doesn’t matter but just made me uneasy. But damn I’d rather have it simple like that then all of the cycling of the JOC tek with two timers and every few minutes
True it does tak a little settin up but really just a hose 2 timers and a fan ( about $60) extra. I truly stand behind the cycling & it frees me up to focus on genetics. Not to mention the intake is HEPA filter so they are grown in a nearest sterile environment I have very little issue extracting clones. Also I recommend piping into the top however if you’re not using a exhaust it doesn’t matter the thinking and piping in from the top for me is it helps pull the fog into the casing layers which is what you’re trying to do rehydrate your casing so you can evaporate it back up Plus it comes with a fantastic view...... lots to clone and print!

Alright fuck it I’m sticking with JOC tek for now
So is it okay if I pipe it to the side like this? (Just now cutting holes and modifying it)

Or should I go more to the back like this

And don’t get me wrong it’s not at all like I don’t really like the JOC set up. I just had to get off my wallet as it’s a bit more expensive starting it with all of the timers and filters and such. But it’s all ordered now.

Lol yeah I know bro & I get that. I failed for 8 months trying to get them in an unmodded mono with 0 success Once I started modifying it I started getting them the more I modified and cranked my other operation the better they got. It’s definitely a little piece of money upfront but growing them takes commitment both mental and economical lol yes I use pieces of tape to aim it back towards the back of the tent and straight down that way it’s not blowing directly into any one tray but rather running down the back and filling the tent evenly it will then begin to build up from the top down your tent should be filled for about a minute before your fan kicks on

Well we appreciate all of your hard work put in and of course failures lol without all of your trials we wouldn’t have an easy to follow tek. Alright so I got the vent pipe perfectly nestled down and towards the back. I assume it doesn’t matter if the filter is in the from or the back of the tent right?

kayo said: So do these need a more "complicated" set up than the usual cube FCs? Seems every tek Ive seen (albeit there arent many) have more than just a tub with some sort of FAE but like a martha or some other pro setup with all kinds of tubing and what not. Basically im wondering if these would at least do well enough on something like an unbodified mono in the corner of a room with lights and stuff.
To that end would a top layer and going straight to "fruiting conditions" at spawn be a bad thing? Seems a post colonization casing is a favorite for pans but an equally thin top layer serves the same purpose no?
Also, im definitely going to use manure in some form but adding coir to the mix shouldnt be a bad thing either right? Im thinking a 1:1:1 of Manure:Grains:CVG and either top layer a'la Bod or case with CVG. May throw in worm casings if I end up having to get composted manure.
Oh and sorry if all this has been asked already in this 400+ page thread, heheh.
No these dont need a complicated set up.
They grow very easily. Before moving indoors I was trying the whole stem butts, spore solution myclieum running type advice. Never got a cube but the pans just kept coming. The only downside was the constant slug festival.
Im not sure why other people have such troubles. When wet wheather comes pans appear before cubes in nature. Outside temps are constant mid 80s. A box with 3" of perlite + misting the walls 2x a day does me well.
Sterilzed straw shoebox + clean agar > 100% > dunk, drain > case and fruit.
Eh?! Why would someone take 2.5g when we are saying 0.5g is effective. Also why take that much at home, alone.
Nature is the place to be with that much power.
Or bring everything needed into a room and make a list of positive inspiration, & make a rule to stay there. Tell a friend and lock the door, no dangerous items allowed. preparation with lots of purification.
Nature softly sings a sane song, consisting of the sun light, the milky way, the sight and smell of flowers, clouds, birds, bodies of water, heights.
Infinite means to catch your breath and take it away with awe for creation.
Seems a little irresponsible to me even if they are very experienced.

I tried to force hydrate spores from my old trop print then squirt a few drops on agar top left . Think I'm going to give up on that one. The other 3 are cyan.
