One quick question for you guys.
Considering you want to use a pcd and fully colonized coir + manure bag to spawn pasteurized substrate- Would there be any advantage or disadvantage over grain spawn?

Shaper as long has we're on the subject of contams I've come to my own conclusion that most if not all of my recent setbacks are in my agar work. I have to keep telling myself to have patience and do those extra transfers. Once it goes to grain and recovers quickly on shakes I know I'm golden. Hard to go wrong after that.

holy fuck - there's a lot of fruit there. VERY interested to see how these mature. How much to the temps fluctuate outdoors where these are?

Thanks. The high temps are typically upper 80s low 90s, and lows are 75-80 all summer till October. The humidity soars with the daily t-storms and early fog.

Yeah? It's totally possible. I don't ever have visible contams on them, but there's likely some shit hiding in there. This is also why I just need to get this damn flowhood going.
Also been seeing high mold content in the air in the mid-west lately in weather forecasts... so that's probably not helping the fact that I use micropore tape on my pertri dishes

I came back to this after a few days away. The casing seemed very dry and the fruits were tiny in the extreme. You might be able to see from the picture. I'm still optimistic that I am close to getting the conditions right as long as I don't go away.
I've just made up six brf pf cakes to noc up with my pan LC. I'm going to try those when they are ready. I added a bit of straw to the mix.

Good luck on those trays mullugh.
In my case better late than never! I was just about to toss this P. Bis tray I cased 18 days ago. No mold or anything so I just let it sit in the GH till I had the ambition to chuck it. Then I come home to this little trooper.
