How are you taking these clones and specify how they failed?

Jack did you see my post a few pages back about cloning? It def takes practice but I’m over 80% successful now. Just takes a steady hand and very sharp blade

Thanks Asura . Here's a pic of my last efforts. Half the fruits grew under the substrate because I was using my fish tank for heat. That was a bit annoying. The hole in the substrate on the left was where I dug out contam and sprayed it with bleach, I managed to get another flush so turned out ok.

Asura, Lurker here. Your grow log posted last month with the more detailed Blue helix method is amazing. Much respect. I've had good success mixing RGS with Milo but I am doing prepped grain in jars then bulk instead of the myco bag. I read everything Blue helix posted but I didn't have the equipment to follow it exactly. I'm going to try to emulate some of your methods soon. I have a wild strain I picked in Cambodia and grew out. Some of the fruit was up to 12 cm tall and I got at 3 least flushes. At some point I want to share prints and get it out to the community.

aye, first couple rounds i took them how jake illustrated, best i could. they all went sour. that is, gnarly bacterial infection, and no mycelium grew out. ten plates all together. last night i tried just cutting sections of the stipes covered in fuzzy myc, hoping they jump off and outrun the bacteria. the galindoi clones i took were a breeze by comparison.

Welcome to the the crew, man. Don't be a stranger. You have any pics of the Cambodia strain? That sounds very interesting.

This was my first grow ever and it took me 8 months to develop a clean culture on agar and finally get a result. I owe Blue Helix and all the other sharp mycologists on this board much gratitude because now I'm hooked on this hobby.

Can you give us some details on your fruiting setup?
I think there are people here trying similar methods and that could be a big help.

Cool thanks. I will provide some details tomorrow and other photos. I'm in SE Asia. No automation for humidity or anything I just misted and fanned. That blue planter was a hail mary and it gave me 12 cm side pins and 3 robust flushes. All I did was take elements from different grow logs and spend a lot of time tending it. Digital nomad had the time working from home.
