Did you use fogger, mister or anything or did you do everything manually?
Thanks tweeq! These suckers aren't easy. I'm kinda doing both, I've got a fogger, heat in a large 5×5 Martha. I've got got seperate inkbird controllers for temp and humidity but I've also been keeping the casing damp by syringe watering around the pins. I've got some fans inside to circulate the air inside and a small fan pushing air into the Martha. My set up has its issues though. Getting alot of rainout because the Martha is about 10-15° warmerthen the room it's in. And the fans I'm using may be a bit too much as the casing and sub seem to be getting a bit drier then it should I think. Still trying to dial it in but need to tweek the set up some more.
Looks awesome Jake! Looks like its pinning fast as hell!! Nice job as always!! And thanks for the info you put out on here, I'd NEVER be able to grow these pan aussie without it! You, Mary, Asura and a few others i cant remember are AMAZING!! Thanks and love to all!! Cant wait to try these pans out. Cubes give me waaay too much anxiety! Dont even use them anymore, hoping the pans are a game changer for me...

I find pans to be intense and weird. Every trip has been completely different. The last trip I had there were no visuals, I didn't travel anywhere. I was just there. My brain was off. Like there was no internal thought process or self-dialog at all. I have never been more present somewhere in my life.
I hope they work for you. The only thing I would advise is to avoid making tea with them. I don't know if the heat affects the psilocin or the seratonin or something else, but it is not as strong in tea.

Hmmm, that's interesting Asura, thanks for the heads up. Do you dehydrate your fruits? Does that heat bother their potency you think? I just dried what I picked yesterday at 160°f. I hope it didnt affect them in a negative way like the tea would.

I def loose some potency (but it doesn’t matter I got plenty to use up lol) but my fave is to dry them grind them make honey keep making it then after a month the first bottle u made is ready. I add it to tea then strain it out. There is absolutely no taste or stomach pain. (However you do use about an 8th where as if u just ate straight you would only need a gram or so) But I really like the trip from making honey this way it’s very clean very clear almost 0 negative side effects it’s worth using the extra mushrooms

Jake could you elaborate on how much you put into your honey? I'm interested to give that a shot.

Mmkay. So any old full honey jar and then mix in pan powder and let sit from a month? I still get sickly feelings with tea sometimes and I found a hard boil/reduction post tea has all but eleminated this. I wonder if it's bacteria riding along ad that the antibacterial properties of honey play the same roll as the hard boil.

Here is my revised set up and I welcome comments/feedback. I have one shoe box and six take away containers. Three are in place and three are covered (just wondering if it makes a difference). I cased them all from the get go.

I have a fan/air filter to help with fae and thermostat controlled heatmat. Humidifier keeping humidity very high.

The last time I got a pan flush, I dried them, powdered and mixed with honey which I then ate. It was a thick paste and half a tea spoon got me wasted.

It depends on how you use the honey if you want to strain your tea after you add the honey it’s best to wait a month for the actives to soak into the honey it’s self if you’re not going to strain it then you don’t have to wait

I suppose at first but like I said there is a max load the honey can take in so you get used to dealing with all max load pan honey it becomes pretty consistent. Speaking of check out these honey suckle-esk hausteca’s (say thT 10 times fast)

so pans don't tolerate getting wet. they abort if sprayed. pretty widely reported.
does this hold true at any point along their maturation time? that is, if the tray above had gotten spritzed the day before, would them shrooms have stopped growing right then? or is there some tolerance gained after they reach a bit larger size?

So as an experiment I sterilized 8 qts of hpoo in jars and spawned 2 small trays with colonized oats. One is doing well, the other was overtaken by mold. I still have 6 qts of sterile hpoo in jars I'd like start over with and pasteurize. My thinking is maybe dump them out on a tarp and let them dry in the sun for a week or so, rehydrate then pasteurize. Thoughts?
