That looks off to me. Your casing shouldn't have anything consuming it like that after 7 days. It doesn't look like overlay but my eyes suck.

Beulah (from the Florida panhandle area) is the 2nd flush from two agar selections:

Here's first flush of two selections of a wild Hawaii(South Point), F2 & F1 . BTW the first flush is often out of sync and kinda ratty looking, these are no exception:

Both varieties printed well- here's some Hawaii prints.

This is exactly why I wanted you to have a print, absolutely beautiful, you definitely did them justice, as expected

No I did receive a Pan Jam print from your last giveaway. I already put them to agar and made my first transfers 2 day ago so I’ll have some going before too long

I feel uncomfortable giving out too much- but here's the man- thanks Doc for that wild Beulah print! I liked the name so much that it motivated me to do the grow.

Very excited! My first pins on my first pan grow! 2 trays are both pinning, not much but they're there. Hoot! Thanks Asura for the print, that was awesome of ya! And thanks to everyone that contributes to this forum. Mary, Asura, Jake, and all the rest of the heavy hitters that keep us noobs trying, thanks! Here's another bigger tray that I cased today... Plus another tray like it that I cased about 5 days ago. Just opened that one up to fruit today.

Congratulations man! Every pin counts
Lost 1 of my two pan trays to some sort of fruitfly that found its way into my sub to lay its eggs. So no more shotgun fruiting with manure based subs for us.
The other one has a little more to give still:

Yeah I know
New bags are halfway colonized so the journey goes on.

@Rombino That's so cool. Your trays look really good, so I wouldn't be surprise if some more popped up soon. First pan pins are definitely a big deal! You should be proud. Congrats!

Whats the oldest print you guys have successfully germinated just by swiping to agar? Not counting forced hydration/hot agar pour over.

@Mary
Wondering did you iterate on agar for these grows (select for growth on agar)? Or did you go straight from agar (x1) to LC?
I've been curious about the importance of iterating on agar other than for the purpose of ensuring a clean transfer to LC. Intuitively, to me it makes sense to start out with as much diversity as possible to not inadvertently select against fruiting genetics.
