Hey guys,
First 'flush' of pan blobs and... one real little pan shroomie:) The goal was to try and get at least one mushroom soo.. mission accomplished.

Are the blobs and stemless ones usable at all?
We have changed fruiting chambers for an eventual second flush to try and keep humidity higher. Keep you posted!

@Pud Where there is a will there is a way. We'll get this.
Very happy with Asura's write up, mary's grow logs and jake's posts.
This first time everything went reasonable but I failed to create good fruiting conditions. Will have to go more high tech with these eventually as I have no desire (or time) to be ie handwatering them every few hours.
But seriously guys, are the ones with good color usable?

Great looking tray Jake! Are these a pan cyan variety or are they a different species of panaeolus?

Strain is called Ogre Boy. Result of clonibg the fruits from a growkit from a Dutch vendor. Puduwoke actually called them to ask what it was and they told gum Hawaii. However they are marketing it with a variety name if its own. There's little documentation and I don't see the kits anywhere on the market any more so idk what's up with that. Glad I cloned the few few fruits I got from it. That was actually done in a dubtub, so we're trying that out with these trays now too for the time being.
Think I have some spores left

Asura,
Why is the bottom link on your message: "Cultivating Panaeoulus cyanescens" inaccessible?

Hmmm, it's working for me. I don't know. It should link out to Mushroom Cultivation.
Edit....damn...I linked to the copy in my journal. Fixing now.

Do you have access to cow pastures or horse?
you would have a feild day (hehe) and bring alot to the table... we have plenty in the tropics, a trip around september to december (usual fruiting times) may be so worth it for what you do.
Its been so dry lately my favourite pasture caught on fire. T.T
Before being Demystified I found amanita muscaria (fully red and white speckled) and backed up a couple meters away due to mycophobia, never seen it since (probably for the best now that im interested haha). And once found the slug eaten remains of a wood loving blue bruiser, havent heard much about tropical woodlovers, unfortunately I didnt know agar at the time.
Strain hunters: mushroom edition

second tub almost done colonizing in about a weeks time, could be faster with LC for sure, or with more than one piece of agar, plain straw again with maybe a dusting of manure layered into it, but i cant recall for sure.
advice/criticism welcome

Lmao!

Of course you do, and there will be one as we have enough to trip on for the both of us. Maybe we can get some more from these trays. What usable material we have now is far under 1 gram dry. It's been twenty years since my last Pan trip so a few more weeks wait won't hurt. For Nathalie, it'll be her first Pan. journey so we probably won't take it beyond 2g each. I remember vividly how that blew my mind at the time.

Here is pan Australia crossed with pan hausteca (no venom) I spotted a few clamp connections and Alan verified (via pic) There is def some of each in there but seeing as both ISOβs used in the cross consistently produced straight uniform fruits Id imagine the weirdos are my crosses. I will take several clones and begin working on stabilizing. I also have a venom forced hybrid of this same cross it will be interesting to see how the crosses compare (if the venom does indeed work)

Jake, this huasteca is moving so slow! I will probably do another round of transfers and then go to LC. But a big part of me wants to just chop these up and start the LC now.
