I'm going to attempt a few jars of LC later today. If it works it should save several days each time I start over. Does normal LC with karo and malt extract work well for pans?

Mary have you started your hausteca yet? These are quickly becoming my favorite strain I would say they are my favorite except last night that Australian iso-surprised me sending up those two fruits only eight days after bulking before I even put into a Fruits in condition or cased !!! Both of them are mean as fuck though!

Not yet, I have a backlog of stuff & not enough time. I look forward to working it.
As far as the Aussie- I haven't personally experienced pinning before casing, but I heard at least one other report of it.
So these isolates are monocultures on agar selected from clone tissue? Have you tested other isolates of Hausteca? This one looks like it has strong fruiting genetics for sure.

Yes ma’am! I have about 3 iso’s Of each all derived from different clones. Ive then bred these iso’s Together and re cloned several times, each time they seem to get a lil bigger and more aggressive. Now I’ve begun crossing these iso’s between pan cam / pan cyan (soon I’ll add bisp and trop) using water moccasin venom to try and force hybridization. The hemotoxic venom (in theory) will damage the cell walls of the hyphae enough that nuclear materials may pass thru into the other iso and vice Versa without killing the cells. I have a few experiments of these a few days in I’ll post some dish pics later.

Anything I cross with the sandoze dwarf will be neat looking and give definite visible results as to whether this truly works or not

Do pans have a hard time colonizing bags? Sorry for the noob question but I've been curious if they colonize without issues.

They colonize bags great. I posted a pic a page or so back of a bag doing really well. I have to give the process a little nudge by a carefully breaking up the sub and redistributing things because no matter what I have done, the bottom can be tricky.
Pan cyan has this reputation for being delicate, but from my experience a good culture will be tenacious AF.

Thanks! I have a bunch of bags and I wanna give em a try with pans and p. galindoi and I didn't wanna start a bag of pans for it to stall halfway colonized. I didn't think it would but I wanted to have that confirmed to be the case.
I'll definitely have to give your writup a read. Thanks again.

Still got the link to the one in your Journal. Did you update anything yet / Should I find the new one?
Edit: Wow! Congrats on that TC tag dude!
