(Right hand side, near the edge)

Not too many yet but we got some pins. I'm so excited. Thought it wasn't going to happen anymore with these first trays.

And for sure it wouldn't have happened without all of y'all's info and tips. Especially Asura, many thanks.

We know we're not there yet. We're getting there

Cheers guys

Thanks guys ,

There are only 5 to 10 pins but hey, like I said for this first try I'd be happy with one!

Next time sub is gonna be max 2.5 inches deep and I won't forget about the consolidation period after spawning.

Now let's hope these mature as they are supposed to

You rock Tweeq!

Guys, my other trays are finished colonizing. But not this one. Is this contam?
Either way I already throu it out, it smelled bad. Maybe it was just the poo substrate tho. Never used it before.

Still. Would like to know your comments. Contam?

Is the rate to slow you think, Jake?

Doesnt matter if I open up the door to the GH. Still needs misting in the same timeframe.

I’m not gonna say it’s too slow but it’s much slower than mine

Hey all! Finally got my Pan Aussie game going. HUGE thanks go to Asura for the print.
and to all the great people on this forum that are so willing to share their knowledge with the masses! Huge thanks!

I've got two trays in a small GH right now.
Spawned on 4/26, not sure if I messed up though. I didnt cover them up during colonization, left it open in the GH but kept it very humid in there with a disc fogger and used a small fan to bring in O2. I've got some casing mix made up and pasturized, used jiffy mix and verm, and some eggshell powder to help with pH, I hope... I plan on casing today if it looks like I should. Then I'll cover for a couple days, then put back to the GH but with less humidity, to allow evaporation.  Is that correct? Looks like I may be getting some over-lay on the surface too but unsure. I'm REALLY pumped for this grow. I've grown plenty of cubes,(way different) and take them for depression but they give me terrible anxiety on the come up, so I dont use it very often. I'm hoping the pans will not be so bad in that dept.
Any words of wisdom/advise would be greatly appreciated and definitely needed. Thanks all!

Thanks for the answer Jake.

Here is my follow up question or what Im thinking about.

So, If someone else asked what I asked. I would of just said, well open the door to the GH  more and you will get more fae and most likely more evaporation.
BUT, I have a InkBird humidity controller. So if I increase my fae. Either with my speed controlled fan that is pumping are out or open the door to the GH. My humidifier will just run more often and those make the casing even more moist.

Hope you understand?

My Bisporus have been fully colonized for about 3 days now. Would it be OK to wait like 3 more days before I case and fruit it? I won't be home for 2-3 days so..

EDIT: Here da pic

Adas. Im new yo Pans myself. But. In some of the teks to Pans people let there substrate consolidate for a week. So Im pretty sure it will be no problem.

My trays has been fully colonized for 5 days already. Waiting for the other trays to catch up

i reckon it would be about the same if it was sterilized. i missed that part, my bad. but then, you'd have to shake the bottle after dropping grain in. i've had bad experiences shaking those bottles. the seal isn't bombproof, and shaking hard can suck contaminants inside. this one jar ended up smelling just like rotten orange juice. delicious. anyway, sounds like it could work, just be careful on the shake.

Yeah, I know. I saw a trick on youtube for them where someone PC'd them with a dowel rod down the center of the canister. When they opened the jar they pulled out the dowel rod and dumped in grains. Seems genius, and after my most recent experiment with muda bottles going half bad... I'm seeing the benefits of this idea.

I’ve finally dialed in my Jartha’s so Be completely self sufficient. It has taken months but the new trays are on day 5 and are still perfectly hydrated, and I’ve increased evap even more than before!
Stoked!
Ps neo is flying thru  grain I’m pretty confident they will be as popular as Tamps within a year

Psilocybe neoxpensis var culdera

It’s about 2.5x as strong as cubes it moves very fast and after seen it’s growth so far and talking with Alan (who collected it originally) I think I can make a tek for them that most intermediate growers will have no problem and will produce hardy flushes.

For sure I’m gonna run every new exotic several different ways to determine optimal growing conditions. Right on I have zaps on sterile straw, pasteurized dung, straw, worm castings, coir, & verm
I got sum on hwfp coir and hummus. I also have several casing recipes I’m going to try.  If I was a betting man I’d say the hwfp combo will be my winner although the straw could also. I think all 3 will work but I want canopies.
Anyway I will have lots of teks to write! Would love sum help

Sweet! Pretty is not my strong suit

My moms friend has a lab with a confocal microscope. On Friday I’m gonna go in and start to learn how to use it. Once I know how she says I am welcome to schedule sessions with it so hopefully we can get some really stunning micro pics
