Well, here's what I did as a last attempt to at least get me some fruits. I took horse manure, wheat straw and vermiculite and grinded it up into a power. Then added more verm to give it a pf cake consistency. Then I loaded them up into half pint jars. I sterilized them and inoculated them with Pan Bisporus LC. We'll see what happens. Im going to treat them exactly like pf cakes from here on out. Wish me fruits.

I don't know what's beast size for P Bisporous but 5.9g is by far the biggest I've grown. I saw this one had potential so I syringe watered it for 5 days. I'll be interested to see dry weight this afternoon.
EDIT .48 dry

...direct inoculation of substrate with LC is the method.
You made my day with this remark Asura! I have made some 80cc of ogre boy LC that I was wondering what to do with on short term. So I could skip the grain stage? I have all the ingredients at hand, dried and well, for a substrate bag or two.
Do you use as much hpoo in your subs as MF does?
Ima try this today for sure!

Harvest time (130g wet minus the 55 caps that I am printing). Almost a full canopy but not quite. Still my best Pan Jam grow ever. It is the best 1st flush I've ever had.

Prints will be made available to you guys first as always. Those should be ready to go out in a few days. I'll let you know when you can PM for 'em.

Mary Ausra do y’all LC or grain inoculate sterile bulk in all your tray?s I’ve ran a few before they worked fine just as good as pasteurization just a lil longer of a wait. I got a few of each ready for casing tonight 🤗 keep up the fantastic work everybody!!! Mush love!

For pans I do it for the results. For cubes I do it because it's quicker (or seems to be). I'm no innovator there. Blue Helix has been known to do that, too. I just steal all his moves and life works out

I got nothing against it I really don’t see any difference to be honest maybe slightly less contamination from the sterile tek but only if the poo hasn’t been fully aged yet. I guess I just like not having to do the additional pc runs the set and forget electronic cooker is perfect for lazy pasteurization. That being said I prolly got about 6 sterile pan bags on deck lol.

I'd like to chime in on Spawn to Bulk vs Direct Inoculation grow paths for Pans, I've been thinking about this too- I've also been doing the Blue Helix (direct inoculation) way quite a bit, it seems to work well for Pan cyanescens- but I think the most important factor in optimizing the growing of Pans in general are the air exchange/humidity conditions during the fruiting stage.
I kinda like sterilizing the substrate even if im doing a "spawn to bulk" grow; it worked for my Pan bisporus grow-even tho thats blasphemy. I suppose I should do the electronic cooker pasteurization like Jakes doing.
BTW- thanks in advance Asura for sending me a print!

Sterilized two bags late last night. Off to work now and I will inoculate tonight. Will have to use multiple ten cc syringes as I don't have the big ones yet..
