I cannot get these to pin. They were cased 5 days ago and look really good, but just like the trays in the past, they don't do shit. They are in a 51 qt monotub with a tropic aire humidifier/Fresh air exchanger mounted inside on the lid. I also fan manually, but never mist because it seems to stay damp.
I just can't figure it out.

Commence fruiting!
Pan-cyan-HI on poo/verm/straw (could have laid that a little flatter ). Cased today with 1/8-1/4" of peat/verm (pH~7.5).
Room temp 82F Chamber humidity - 95% 1 fresh filtered air exchange per hour
Before casing:

After casing:

My sub is 40% horse manure 40% wheat straw chopped up. 20% vermiculite. Brought to feild capacity, placed in half gallon jars and pasturized for 2 hours at 150 f.
Casing is 50/50 part moss/verm. Pasturized the same way.
After tub fully colonized, put about 1/4 inch casing. Put to fruiting 5 days ago with no pins or signs of them. Temps are arou d 78 to 80 in tub. Sub depth about 1.75 inches. Air exchanges atleast once an hour with the tropic aire.

Ghost that's pretty much what I'm doing but not so much on the verm with casing. Mime is straight jiffy mix but yeah peat is the same shit basicly.
I did a straight verm casing as an experiment end never pinned shit. Good luck bro

Thanks man, yeah, I've been struggling with these damn Bisporus for 6 months lol. I birthed around 20 trays in different conditions and they all failed. Got maybe 3 little mushrooms that all ended up being .2 grams dry lol.
I really just don't know why in the hell they won't pin. Ive grown numerous cube projects with absolute ease. Im starting to think that its a damn miracle that you got them to pin and the reason you never hear anything about bisporus is because its so damn hard to grow.

I'm having a bitch of a time with bisporus as well. I've tried 3 times and have a 4th attempt consolidating in a tray right now. Following mary's advice, I'm gonna let it ride for 30 days before I fruit it.

Damn, someone suggested to let the sub sit for a month before fruiting? Do you have it cased during this time or is this a month of colonization? There is definitely something that has to be done to make these fruit. I don't see hardly anyone with successful Bisporus grows. Mine will sit for weeks looking exactly the same.
The mycelium looks very healthy and it will stay that way until the mycelium weakens and trich moves in. Never fruits.

I haven’t tried to run em before but if sum 1 slides me sum genetics I’ll see what I can find that makes their cult different. are y’all having overlay issues? or just stall outs? Ms? How long did a2g take? G2b?
If it’s overlay I’ve just been either re arranging or adding a thin amount of casing to the myc that has broken through, so far it works like a charm

Well I hope this isn’t an indication of contamination... Just a few days later and my pan Trop grain jar is showing mycelium on about 95% of the area. The only thing I can think of is that when I rolled the jar around to diribute the wedges that the mycelium broke off the agar and established itself with hundresds of tiny inoculation points...

Nice, but what does it have to do with Pans?

Normal, it's called Satellite colonies, I get them like... literally all the time.

Made some copies of my pan hausteca clone. From what I can tell it appears to be a mono culture (makes my life easier) but I still did as good a job as I could to try and identify different sectors but I really didn’t see any differences. I also made up some LC now that I got a bunch of magnet stir bars. I also continued to try and sector out a few pan cam dishes.

Good stuff Jake! Btw, how did you like those Hausteca? Are they comparable to pan cyans?
You're a busy man! Showing great new trays all the time and posting a lot too. Always look forward to your posts. Inspiring. And makes me realize I got sooo much to learn.

Well, mine just won't pin. The way I did it was, one drop from a MS syringe to agar. I cleaned it up 3 transfers until I had a very nice disk. Put that to WBS and it colonized normally like cubes. Spawned to horse manure, wheat straw, vermiculite. All pasturized. The entire process goes very smoothly and the tub colonizes perfectly.
Then, it is cased with pasturized peat and verm. The tub just goes on being beautiful and smells great. Hell, even what looks like little knots appear. Then, it just stays that way. Eventually it starts dying and then the green moves in. This has happened every time.

Ghost the only thing I can guess is maybe your surface is too wet. I've allowed mine to dry partially and lightly re-mist to trigger pinning.

Hey Tweeq, the pan Huasteca is pan cyans just from wherever Huasteca is
Btw, I have good growth from that Ogre Boy you sent me, but I am holding off on starting any more grows until I sort out some environmental issues that I'm having.
