happened to me with multiple pan cyan spores.
What you could do is contact the supplier and state it was viewed under proper magnification and the spores were covered in bacteria. Worked for me a couple times when I got sent complete shit syringes.

Did you try putting spores on a sterile swab then drawing a pentagram or something on your agar to see if the bacteria is coming from the syringe?

That is another option. When I had a feeling my syringe was bad I tried that and it didn't work either.
How many rounds have you tried inoculating with the syringe

No but considering all the other plates I've done at the same time came out fine... It just made sense it was the syringe. But you raise a good point. I'll do that tomorrow.
This is my second round. I threw the last set out at day 10 with no growth or contams. I should have waited but I thought it had been 2 weeks.
Two syringes from same vendor aren't performing well. The rest have done very well.

Damn as I suspected. What I have growing is NOT that. I'll try swabbing some MS to a plate and see what grows.

Pan trops colonising some straw, oat, bran, coffee subs. This culture pins like crazy on agar. I expect them to do pretty well despite the absence of manure.

Thank you! I'm not so worried about the Alt plates. They look like mycelium and are acting like mycelium. It's the P. cambo I'm having issues with. I have white fuzzy growth with green center. Nasty.

These are the pans I started from G2A, actually going pretty nicely now, I cant see any bacteria, I guess ill have to try and innoc some grains and see.....
This is one of the plates from the print MAD sent me, and dude, you did a good job, as far as I can tell these prints are 100% clean(well, as clean as they can be in a semi-sterile environment) Every single plate I inoculated germinated, and I cant thank you enough man, I spent like 80$ on syringes and prints, and they were all old as fuck, because none of them germinated, fucking vendors.
Can someone post a pic of a clean tampanensis plate? Every one of mine I think are clean until they sit for a while and start turning weird colors. Theres no bacterial contam from what I can see. It would help to see a proper plate. If not, can you PM me it?
Do the two on the top look ok? Im planning on transferring them to grains tomorrow. As well as some of MADS from the bottom pic
I figure two quarts per tray would be fine.

unfortunately the transfers from the plates of your spores are turning out weird.
What I mean, is that the growth is turning out really uneven. Where I put the transfer, its whispy on some parts of it and turning out regular on the others.
Im thinking I transferred bad parts of the previous plates. Do you look for the fluffiest parts when doing pans?

Sounds to me like you've got lots of genetics. But pics always help. I always go for the most aggressive shit I can. Generally with pans it's pretty thick myc.

my plates are growing at like 1mm/day if that, im just glad i got these to germinate finally (and made a bunch of transfers, fingers crossed those take hold) any reason why theyd be going so slow?(agar used was 2% mea recipe)
does anyone grow pan spawn in bags or is it just not worth it for whatever reason(definitely wouldnt be good idea for me til i get some more aggressive growth, i may have to take these to fruit at a snails pace to get some better/more spores)
