I'll follow your recipe next time Asura. So should I discard the casing I made?
I got the recipe from Roger Rabbit's casing video. He says 10 parts peat, 10 parts verm, 1/4 part hydrated lime Seeing as I have 5 cups each of verm and peat, that comes to 0.125 cups hydrated lime = 6 teaspoons
Unless my math is mistaken ..?

Thanks! I'll try out this casing then. Spawning tomorrow, I'll post updates as the grow progresses

Ok, so I'm kinda stumped. These are pan bisporus. I'm getting a decent amount of pins, but the caps just won't open much. I've been misting and fanning as much as I can and they're inside a modified mono. More fae?

You shouldn't be misting after pins arrive. Water the casing with a syringe if you have to.

Ok. No more misting.
These aren't opening like all the other bisporus I've seen. I know it's gotta be from lack of fae, but it drys out pretty quick in there so I thought it was getting enough. Gotta make some adjustments.

also ive noticed with the MS on the first flush fruits are much smaller and more difficult to print. whats your temp? if u have ur tent dialed in right u shouldn't need to mist

Ok. They're 13x9" pans Inside a modded mono. Temps are 78-80 during the day and drop a bit at night.
I won't mist anymore then. But it does dry up quick. I have the top holes completely open so I'm guessing that's why. Just trying to balance fae and humidity in the winter with no fancy equipment. It's a pain but it's working so fuck it lol. I didn't even think I'd get it to fruit.

Hmm. I have a small ultrasonic but I have no idea how to hook it up to be useful for what I need it for. It has no pressure, it's a cool mist ultrasonic humidifier. Not sure that'll be of any use.

Sure it well you just have to use duct tape and a hose to MOD and attachment if it’s low pressure just use large hose

Hmmm... that is true. If I went that route, would I keep the poly stuffed kinda loose? Or standard tightness?

yeah figured id stick with what worked for the aussies and adjust from their. if it doesn't work with the same sub ill try adding grass seed and maybe try potting soil and coir for a casing

Anyone having trouble with germination try making a lc then putting that back to agar successfully? I was thinking make a few small LC jars and if they colonize then use an inoculation loop to dip in the jars and spread on some agar.

Why not just start it on agar and transfer that to lc?
