I cranberry/lemon tek pans. It becomes a 100% immersive, alternate reality for me. When you say "visuals", I can't even
see my house. Doesn't matter if my eyes are open or closed, I am seeing the same shit. It's like I am in VR in a
crazy dreamscape. I'm in a dream world, but fully conscious. Living out multiple time lines. I stayed with this
family called "The Stewarts" for like a month and it was hell...because they were boring as fuck. I was on a boat
out at sea for weeks...just a normal sailor doing sailor shit. Time becomes meaningless. I go to other
dimensions on pans. My friends, too, so I know I'm not too crazy.

Damn... that sounds crazy. Having only ever done cubes I can't even begin to imagine how that feels.

Ever tried pan bisporus asura? I hear they're a darker trip.

I think a lot of us trip differently if that makes sense. Some people take them and walk around and do stuff...
and that's neat. Pans hit me hard so I don't fight it. I'll lay down on the couch and close my eyes and let them
take me away...that's when it gets weird. Honestly, it's like going to sleep and being in a dream...but you're
awake. Pans are DARK for me, but always with a light at the end of the tunnel that is amazing.

I have bisporus from 36fuckin5 in spawn bags as I type this. If I pull it off, I will be trying those for the
first time.

hell yeah! they are much more fun to grow imo and I enjoy the pan trip so much more than cubes. pans (well the Australian pans) feel like a acid trip very high visuals low anxiety and they give me energy whereas with cubes im not moving lol. now its really interesting

Word! Pans are WAAAY more fun to grow. So satisfying too because they take a lot of work. Cubes are like cats.
Pans are more like dogs. One requires a lot more TLC and interaction than the other. And then after you eat your
own pans...like why grow anything else

I have 1 tray of bisporus fruiting, starting to really show thru the casing now. 2 more 13x9" pans colonizing too. From what I've researched it almost seems bisporus fruits easier than cyans. Less yield, but easier to fruit. I could 've totally wrong tho, that's just how it seems from the logs I've read thru.

absolutly although tamps def jave their place. lemopn tek tamps are perfect for a light afterwork trip. 4 hours very giggly great body high god energy ussually a happy trip, would also be perfect for a day trip at a festival before u get into the pans and L for the night. i also really enjoy azzys they were the second mushroom i learned to grow 15 years ago and most of my halloweens have been "super scary" lol but i see what your saying this is why im shutting down cube production, neither me my wife or my brother like em compared not to mention my tummy just cant handle eating that much fungus anymore. even 5gs of cubes in tea hurts my stomach worse than any other varity. i would really like to try psilocybe baeocystis to see how its trip compare to the other active heavy species. (so if anyone has a print holla at cha boy)

Similarities and differences,
Same with me regarding Pans at least- spiky mirth- feel like I'm 15yrs old. periods of extreme excitement. Higher energy, longer lasting trip.

But I prefer cubes- much deeper, more synesthesia, divergent in the most delightful directions, somehow more therapeutic and satisfying.

See this is the part that really fascinates me!! do you take them for any specific condition or just the betterment of your mental health in general  or what ? I’m interested in what cubes are treating as you are the first person I’ve ever spoken with who has tried other species and says they prefer cubes.  Cubes probably sit towards the very bottom of my list on all dmt analog psychedelics. I don’t know cubes give me an extreme amount of anxiety and then that mindfuck I suppose I can see how it could be therapeutic as I do dwell on my self during cube trips but they are exhausting it’s just too mush in my head.  As for mixing them I made us some Hattrick chocolates that are pans tamps and a title wave as well as some pan and Tamp chocolates, I have not had the Hattrick yet but the pan and tamp was fantastic

What are cubes treating?- For me I just find them more satisfying than Pans because they provide a deeper and more meaningful trip. Pans on the other hand are hitting me with so many rapid fire sensations that I cant process it. So for me cubes are deep and Pans are fun. I like them both anyway.

mary, I think we may be similar but I'm not sure.

The only thing I am trying to treat is a lifetime of behavioral patterns. I'm a little older than the average
org member. Michael Pollen's analogy of well-worn tracks in the snow hits home for me. I want to smooth out those
tracks and create new possibilities.

I have patterns about the way I think about others. I have patterns about the way I think about myself. I have
patterns about how I think about the world.

I want to smooth those all out and approach life with a fresh, new, "beginners mind".

everyone's trip is different, through life and their own consciousness.... is a thing i say a lot when i'm tripping. eager to experiment with these exotic varieties. i wonder, the species discussion is interesting. tamps are stone producers, right? would they have similar effect to ps. galindoi? for that matter, stones vs. fruit of the same species have the same effects?

i'm back to square one with my copelandia projects. my jars, don't know, they just ain't right. they smell good, but the culture is just weak, and the old spores aren't keen to germinate. mad failure on the few trays i made so far, so calling it a loss and moving on to fresh prints... thank you asura and doc. put to agar last night.

Dude Michael Pollen's book is a must read. I thought it would be "so lame" but I was wrong. Really good info.

right on, i'm finding it this week.

i have had friends and family give me nods when it was released, like saying, wow jack, it looks like you really weren't full of shit after all. they heard him in interviews or whatever, expounding, saying things remarkably similar to things i'd been saying for years.

thanks for reminding me to go find it.

Hey all, I'm trying out two minimonos of pan jams.
1:5ish spawn ratio to 1:1 store poo/verm sub

They were spawned 1 day apart, the later one colonized faster and the first one seemed like it stalled.
I planned on letting them consolidate before casing to hopefully avoid the overlay issue a lot of people tend to have, but then the first one started pinning.

So I got this one with no casing fruiting and the other one has been fully colonized for 5 days, and I'll be casing it in the morning. The temps are fluctuating between 74-77f.

The caps on these are tiny, probably from sub-optimal conditions, but is there a chance of the caps bulking up in the next couple days or would that have already happened by now?

2 days from pinning

3 days from pinning

I can't wait to try proper Pans for the first time. I hope I can get the Bisporus to fruit. I've only had Pan cinctulus before, and that was hell, totally non-meaningful and non-insightful except for the part where I forced myself to cry. Also had to eat 10g dry. Not fun.

So far I prefer Woodlovers, hands down. They give me a nice emotional uplift even if they show me some negative repressed emotions, the trip is calm and welcoming, and it provides some degree of randomness that Cubes just don't. I don't think I have ever had random tactile/other sensations on Cubes. Woodlovers are pleasantly surprising in this regard. I enjoy these "what the fuck was that sensation?" moments.
