I was thinking along the lines of how most people usually look for the rhizomorphic sectors with cubes, but now that I'm thinking about it more...I've had a couple cube plates with little to no rhizo get a decent amount of knots and pins after leaving them sitting around for awhile.
I think I remember hearing that colored myc can be a good trait in stone species, that the colorful cultures usually fruit better. Most of the (p. galindoi) stone clones I took that didn't get bacteria have a decent amount of color in them.
I've just been grabbing the fastest edges with pans.
Rhyzomorphic growth doesn't have anything to do with a culturesoverall performance. I've never seen a stone producer that didn't have orange or yellow mycelium on agar.
i've never sen orange or yellow in any of my stone producers agar, always in everyone else's though lol but not my alt my tamps or my mex have ever shown discolorations for some reason

Crazy all my ATL7 and Chicon nindo plates turn yellow verry quickly eventually turning orange. Even from MS. It freaked me out the first time I saw it.

I´m seeing Panaeolus mycelium or something else?

If I were you I'd make a transfer today. From 3-4:00
Is this not too early for transfer? I've had no success with pans and just used my last cc of my pan trop syringe to hit a few plates with(only one showing growth), my last plates contammed so i was curious about how large I should wait for it to get to take transfers, it would be nice to get the little growth I do have split onto a few plates that way I can be certain in a week or two I'll have plenty to make slants and start jars with instead of just crossing my fingers nothing appears on my one good looking plate.

ive noticed with stone producers that happens after they've been sitting for a while, like 2 weeks or so.

Asap. When you see clean growth, take a small transfer from the edge. I would say let it get to the size of a penny, so the wedge is easier to cut out.

MAD SEASON IS THE FUCKING MAN.
Went from being frustrated, to having TWO strains of Pan cyan going. The prints I got from a vendor, were just old, so im kinda pissed about that. They weren't good at all. Not sure how long prints take to be unviable, but cmon, if im paying 30$ for a print, you can at least give me a fresh fucking one.
Either way, thank you mad, EVERY plate germinated from your print. Im pretty damn excited right now, definitely going to cook up some grains and get these going!

On another note, I know stone producers look weird, but does this look bad/contaminated? Usually they change colors, but im worried about the metabolites by the center.

I thought pans were able to pin in cold temps. I guess there will be a significant delay, since they are a tropical species after all.

Definitely. I'll have to use a space heater in my room when I get to that stage. I'm still waiting for my jars to start colonizing

I didn't do the best last winter with pans. The balance of keeping it warm but not drying out from the space heater kind of sucks. Its tough to keep my room above 70-75 this time of year. I'm excited to see how bisporus does though because it was originally collected a couple of hours from where I live, so it should be able to handle lower temps. I love winter time for growing cubes though.

I just threw out my P. bisporus plates last night. It had been 10 days and not a single sign of growth or contamination. My PEU plates where the syringes came from the same place as the bisporus also didn't grow. My Alt#7 plates look great! I decided to knock up another round of plates of the bisporus and PEU last night on some freshly poured agar. I'm hoping I don't have 2 bad syringes.

Well. I realized this after I threw them out and looked at my calendar. I thought it had been a full 2 weeks.
