A little more complicated than that. I am growing in a shower (in a bathroom that has never
been used). It's about a 5x4 space. The fan would only move the air around that is in the
room already. Fortunately, there is a window. But I will have to think about how to cycle the
stale air out of the window.

Anyone have any experience with cambos?

I have 5 trays that I fruited on 10/26 and they will not pin. The myc is very aggressive, too.
It's a little aerial on the surface and I am getting some overlay blobs.

I recased all of them, but the myc is just chewing through that too.

Guys I'm thinking I will cut my losses and  start a new pan jam grow later. From homeade agar thru WBS jars I pulled it off textbook. However, hastily throwing this mini tub together I think has stressed things. I forked(roughly) and applied a 1/8ish of casing, started fanning and removed 2 polyfil holes for airflow. I'm still seeing an off color form. The tub still smells wonderful.  Please let me know what you guys think. Pic 1 is an overview of the tub. 2 is what I think is still the pan jam myc. 3 is the transparent looking strands that show grey under flash. I don't know if this is contamination,or what. It's wispy under mag, and kind of looks like early oyster myc to me.

Hi, before i did Pan-cakes with birdseed inside and potting soil around but for last ones I tried a easier mixed sub: verm+potting soil, water+garden lime, a bit of brf, put in jars topped with 1cm of dry verm. PC 1hour.. central inoc with syringe in the polyfil filter. Colonisation between 10-30 day (depending genetics, ms or lc, temperature), open pull out dry verm and put water full jar for one night unmold the cake & direct to fruit.. it’s not a good yield tek but easy and lazy with some results for Pan observation.. (ok with cubes too) and without cooking hpoo or manure in your kitchen if you don’t live alone it’s more acceptable.. you can also break the colonised cakes in a pot or little trays with a thin casing to fruit.

Great thx i make caple cakes litle bit diferent mix let see what gonna be. I have print from 2013 i make syringe and its look good with clouds i putt cuple dropes on 2 agare plates and P.C good warior there too. Hope i dont f...k the cakes mix.

Third flush coming in

First two flushes have yielded 16g dry. It doesn't sound like much, but these are easily 5x
stronger than normal cubes. 2g of pans will send you WELL into a level 5 trip. I know, because
I've done it

Gram for gram, these pack a punch!

I just put some Jam Pan spores agar. Attempt two and I'm more familiar with clean techniques meow. I'm going to try straight coir again, but also poo as it seems to be best. I'd rather avoid farmers and stick to store bought, would chicken poo do? Actually a homie raises chickens...

I know you don't want poo that is too "hot". I think horse and cow are fine, but chicken, rabbit, and bat guano might be too much. I would research this before wasting time.

Seems inconclusive. I'll see what I can get at the store and run em all side by side. I'll ask my buddy for his chicken poo too cause he feeds em funny.

Just look at NPK values. Chicken might work....but I wouldn't do rabbit which is almost twice
as high in nitrogen than chicken.

Edit: I think you want poo from animals that eat grasses mainly.

Fair enough, I did a quick search online and noticed Black Kow, Chicken, and compost manure presumably from only organic material. Super cheap too so the latter may be perfect.

Black kow didn't work for me, but give it a shot and prove me wrong. I'd love to figure out
how to make it work. I wasted two trays. Nothing.

Black kow is shit, you'll get 3x better results wigh real manure(as far as ive seen from a few pics, but you can argue ms is the reason but i doubt it.)

This one guy tryd black cow in some cased cakes an the black kow cake looked saaad compared to everything else, i can't remember or find the thread.

Word, I know I saw the black kow experiment float by. I'll try chicken and the compost I saw. I suppose I can talk to some neighbors for fresh cow or horse. I don't know who still has their animals near by, but there's plenty of farms around.

I have been mesmerized by this organism. I just can't put my finger on the smell. Canned peaches with a hint of cocoa powder maybe. My sense of smell isn't the best, but the GF says it smells tantalizing. I've been watching the pale grey areas turn cotton white on about 12 hour cycles. Fanning every few hours now and what do I see?
