Xerbia, that looks really good. Not that I know how to grow pans, I've just figured out lots of ways not to grow them I like the wispy growth I am seeing through the casing and the moisture level. I think you're going to have success with this.

my tropicalis plates have some extremely thin growth with little puffs. im new to these so not sure how they behave on agar, here's a couple of shitty pics. both plates are fully colonized by something.
im thinking about making a li out of one plate with the thin growth. im curious how it will look on grain, green maybe lol.

What recipe agar did you use? looks like BRF. If it was high % nute content, it will get thin like that.

Some Panaeolus Bisporus grainwater/Hpoo LC. Left a few pieces of Hpoo in there to see how the myc grew onto it.

Pretty sure that's mold. Pan myc can bruise pretty blue, but that's not what's going on there.

Have yet to decide... either top fruit from mini rounds in SGFC or trays in the grow tent, maybe some of both. There was lots of bluish sclerotic action on the overgrown spore germ plates... almost threw them out. Panaeolus species have been tricky for me on agar

Quick question can’t find a thread on this one, do you think pans would be able to grow on guinea pig shit after you leech it and mix it- 60% manure, 40% verm, +5% gypsum?

Dunno but worth trying I guess. Depending on the consistency of guinea pig shit you might want to add some coir too or use more verm - fluff it up until it’s not muddy anymore. You must have a lot of guinea pigs. I bet it takes a hundred guinea pigs to shit as much as a single cow.
