Gonna try the LC and see what happens.
I had several pan cyan cultures looking just like those on LME... ended up trashing ‘em all not sure if they were meshed in mold cultures
the second pic looks like hella stones, i would clone them for sure. The third pic looks like straight mold imo/e

First one is pan Jamaica and the second is pan tropicals. Where you all go from here? Sorry for the shitty pics my camera is fucked up, and that second picture looks like there's something white above the growth but it's just glare.

Either will work. Corn gets a bad rep for a few reasons. I prefer wheat from WinCo

I spawned some Pan. cyanescens 'Hawaii' to 100% freshly harvested worm castings straight from the worm bin. So no bringing to field capacity, no pasteurization, no casing layer. This was just an experiment, but it seems to work out alright. The worm castings are very water retentive, so I won't have to spray them now that they're pinning.

Alright, won't be too long I suppose. Temperatures of about 30°C (86F) this week, which is great for Panaeolus.

I keep my compost worms inside. It's just a non transparent bin with a lot of tiny holes in the lid. I do my best to keep the bin not overly wet by adding even amounts of cardboard snippets or dry cow manure to the 'wet' foods (mostly old/rotten fruits and vegetables, spent coffee grounds, etc). This way I won't risk going anaerobic in the bin, and I won't need to drain the 'percolate'.
Here's a picture of my bin I posted a while ago:

Poison, thats really GROUNDBREAKING- no pasteurization, no trich & NO CASE!
Looks like its going to be an awesome yield too. Lots of pins coming up! Go figure, I thought it would be too rich, always learning.
What was the spawn to worm casting ratio? How long since you mixed the spawn with the worm castings?
I have to try that next Fall.
I'm totally into the vermiculture thing, I've had a worm bin going for a couple of years- I feed them mostly kitchen scraps and cardboard. That reminds me- I have to feed them today.
Please keep us updated.

I originally had the worm bin to fertilize my ethnobotanicals. I would regularly harvest half the bin once it got too full, and would let the leftovers dry in the open air. Two observations while doing this: It won't usually grow any mold or other contaminations, and it would take a long time for it to dry out. I have also added quite some cow manure a months or two ago, to let the worms digest it and incorporate it into the castings. I believe it's a very rich mix, with added spent coffee grounds, lots of fruits and vegetables, etc. Fresh worm castings are full of beneficial microbes, making it hard for a contamination to get the upper hand. It is also made up of small globules, making it airy. I do notice the mycelium hasn't colonized the entire substrate.
I believe it's a ratio of about 50/50 spawn-worm castings. I spawned it on the 21st, and kept it in a plastic bag in dark conditions up until yesterday. I was waiting for it to colonize the entire substrate, and was originally planning to add a thin casing layer, since I assumed Panaeolus needed a casing layer to fruit properly. Might be old information though, haven't read up properly yet. but I noticed all the pins and immediately placed it in fruiting conditions. I'm using a sort of mini-mono-SGFC.
They're growing rapidly too, the largest ones are already reaching 2-3cm (1").
