Yes Multispore, 2.5g handed my ass to me last time. I have over 3 decades at this and it was too much, not fun at all and very introspective.

Id say 2.5 grams of any Pan would hand a person their ass...
I honestly couldnt imagine it...I would never go over 1.5 grams of Pans
I got my ass handed to me with 1.1 g of Bisporous...

I usually have a period early in the trip when I have to clean my emotional closet of old hurts before the trip can turn blissful.

Hi Peteyboy- Nice to see you back on this thread!
Same here. There is usually a slightly rough take off where thoughts I don't really want just come at me...I have a theory that it's all the stuff that you pop into your subconscious over the previous week/month/years...I have to sift though that stuff before the bliss

You da bisporus god! I remember your grow from last year.
I'm finishing my grows in the next week or so & taking the summer off. I'll be posting on Pan cy Ausies, Hawaiian, & Pan cinctulus grows soon.
My greenhouse is actually green with algae growth- not looking forward to cleaning it.

But I'm definitely no Bisporous God lol, it was an impressive grow but I chalk it up to luck and great advice from you and a couple other members. I will be looking to repeat those same results of course lol!!
I hope you enjoy your summer and of course I will be looking forward to your future posts...Hopefully you dont disappear for good I would live for you to check in on my next run with the Bisporous!

I might be wrong but the way I see it so far, species of the Panaeolus genus are to each other what varieties are in the Psilocybe species. They look different but are overall the same regarding potency and growing parameters. I guess I'll choose the prettiest looking to grow. Perhaps P. cambodginiensis sandose and the Panaeolus bisporus are a little ahead of the curve with no obvious superiority between the two.
I disagree, panaeolus Tropicalis has been consistently more potent than panaelous cyanescens.
Good to know. I was under the impression Panaeolus cyanescens was the weakest. Cambo and bisporus being the strongest and tropicalis perhaps in between.

Regarding potency, search the forum, There certainly is a consensus that most if not all the Panaeolus species are more potent than Psilocybe cubensis. I have not seen a consensus on which Pan species is the most potent. People have been picking one species or another for years. Probably one of the species averages a higher potency than the others but they’re close enough that there’s a lot of overlap in the potency ranges between the species.
Just another voice in the chorus- my current subjective vote is for Pan. bisporus.

My first attempt to capture Blue Helix's knowledge is pretty rough.

I think I am going to redo again and try to link to every post that I referenced. A lot of lost context, but I think the gist of it comes through.
Just did this pretty much as notes for me. My pan spawn is just about grown out, so it's time to put up or shut up I guess.

Awesome. Those crimson pans are beautiful. Look like they're dipped in caramel.
My pan grow is officially a success as I've got prints out of it... and they're red
I've loved watching these grow. This second flush rolled in almost overnight.

Ones in the SGFC get a lot more FAE and are short and fat

That is sick! Did the red spore fruits originate from a black spore print? Those SGFC fruits are short and fat indeed, love the look

I've been inspired to rehydrate my ten year old tropicalis prints just now and made 4 syringes from a whole single print. Tried it on agar and it didn't work so hoping the hydration will help and I might inject to pf cakes as some have suggested here. Will be gutted if this doesn't work as I really want to grow ethos variety....wish me luck.
