Really cool grow, Wooly!! Different kinds of poo, ay?.... Am open to that camel poo now, or to visiting a circus..
@ Mycolorado: I can't find isolation technique referenced (as in explained or linked) really in the previous 8 or so pages, but I did see that chronicr put it nicely when he said strains on top of strains besides strains and having to transfer a bunch of times before you can narrow it down.
When I did Serbica MS there were immediately a whole number of neat incompatible strains sectoring. But I guess that says nothing about compatible strains running together invisibly? So unexplained irregular shapes of your colony but no zones of inhibited growth means there are still a couple strains screwing around and you pick sector(s) that look most vigorous and most regularly shaped (locally)?
correct?
Makes sense that poo agar is good, doc! Supposedly your culture tunes in its metabolism accordingly on agar so it's better prepared when the main substrate is mostly similar.. I've even heard that you can 'train' some species to appreciate (untreated even?) pine wood if you put that in your agar first, whereas they would object a bit if you just surprise them with it.
If anyone tries to use 'unorthodox poo'.. .. don't pee on it. I think sun curing manure is done partially to get out the piss.

I don’t think I was in on that discussion.
@ AlexSmit - I was able to get my bis grow done with the info available in this thread. I think the successful growers in this thread are still experimenting and figuring out simplified ways of growing them and dialing in conditions...not sure there are a lot of Pan TEKs. Lots of questions get passed over in all cult threads, that doesn’t mean they’re ignored or info withheld...in this case, I would wager that we’re simply still collating the data and ideas are coming from all directions. All that said, hell yeah there’s some pride to be had by those who are blowing these up and it speaks to their abilities as cultivators. General rules of thumb....poo-based sub, high fruiting temp and saturation humidity. The few non poo-based grows seem to produce weak fruit that don’t fully mature.

Maybe not for pans but maybe cearu, the wiki about cearu w. Says they was a field of massive fruits were there was a raw sewage leak and once repaired they never showed up again. I think pig manure...
Thanks guy for the manure agar! That is gonna help out alot.

I started 10 LC´s with 10 different varieties and some species on the 24th and ALL of them have taken off except the Pan Cyan, nothing grew in that LC typical..

What about human poo? It would be easy to come by.

Human poo not heat treated can cause serious illness by eating anything grown from it. The shit plant here treats it and sells it to farmers but I've never tried it. I know clitocybe nuda likes dog shit.

Some Jam Pan transfers I did Thursday. The seem to like MEA and I think I took good growth. Probably gonna take another set of transfers as well as do some small masters just to see how they turn out.

I have some, too. These are 3rd transfer. Still not getting uniform growth.

It is simple enough to ask a question here and if it gets ignored do the smart thing and make your own post....these threads often move fast so dont come here complaining that questions go unanswered , i will personally knock you off your fucking high horse with no issue, people have been nothing short of helpfull here so dont comd here trying to bring shame to the great members who are here on their own time trying to help out because i have no problem at all calling your bs. With that said i want to thank everybody for this thread it has been epic to watch and be a part of, and threads like this have even made tc's

It amazes me how people can experience the same thing so differently. This is my favorite thread on the site right now. The amount of help I've been given via PM is astounding.
And now my first patch of hpoo agar...

Edit: who changed the name of the thread!

Jeez, you're mad. Ok, so we're back on this again. It's my opinion can we drop this? We all have our own opinions and if we can't express them like adults there is literally no point in having the same conversation.
