I’ve been using a cow manure compost (Black Kow) for my cube grows, was curious if that would be sufficient enough or not.
Hoping to fuck around with some pans in the next few months

If I could find Quality wbs cheaper than oats, that's what I would prefer to use. I'm not knocking oats, they work okay, I've had wbs fruit mushies in and outside the jar. Oats have never fruited anything alone, I've always had to add coir or something.

The cultures I have aren't responding well to the oats, the one looks like it's not growing off the agar at all. However, the same culture on rgs is doing well. I probably shouldn't have but I split 1 dish to 2 jars, oats and rgs. Today I made some rgs with straw in it and I'm excited to try it. I saw someone mention it like 100 pages back but I didn't see any results so I'll post my exp. Here's how they look

Here's a dilemma for ya. Got a few jars of Pan Cyan Hawaii that are at about 80% but will need to travel in about 10 days and can't take care of them otherwise for another 12-15. What's the best course of action? Keep them in the jars during this time? Open up a jar or two and plate some myc just in case? Refrigerate? G2G and just start a bunch more jars for better timing?

Some more experienced people will chime in I'm sure, but I think you will be fine. I'd rather leave them and let them fully colonize than slow them down by putting them in a fridge. I've had trays of azures (for outdoor beds) in a closet for over 2 months and they were fine.

Molds are killed so easily that if you see it in your grain jars it is not your prep or pc cycle it is your inoculant or filter

You need to be up on your xfers like crazy and double what you'd do for cubes, i have 3 month old bacterial pan trop plate that developed mold under the myc after month 2. Sneaky sneaky tams are with pans.

Cool story. Luckily I never see mold inside my jars.

I would never argue with g2g
So at a minimum I could definitely G2G one master jar out to a number of others. That's a solid backup plan and pipeline filler. Then for the remaining fully colonized non-masters, would you suggest to leave as is or refrigerate?
