Looking good, I have some bisporous on grains and tropicalis.
Edit: I think I'll spawn to 68% hpoo 30% coir 2% gypsum substrate.

Trying some 2-cup zip rounds. The consistency of the sub was really nice. Dropped about 10ml of Pbi clone LC in each.

They definitely like the poo, fruits are bigger and fuller flushes.
Edit: If you have an old coffee grinder, it works great for turning the poo to powder, all my mushrooms seem to prefer the ground up stuff.
Doc, I took your advice to try powdered poo in my pan cyan macmerdin style 1/2 pint jars. Seems to work quite well. It's been only a week and I have about the same amount of growth that it took 10+ days to see on an earlier un-powdered manure batch. Of course one batch doesn't prove anything but I like to think the powdered sub had an effect.
Here's a pic of my one week old jars:

Going to try doing manure agar next using Mary's manure tea recipe.

Could you share your source of the powdered Hpoo? I have access to fresh piles of hpoo but I'm not sure I want to deal with dehydrating it. Or is there a tek for using straight from the horses ass?

Anyone ever try rice hulls, my local beer/wine making store gave me a paper sack full for $1. I will try it with something, but I haven't decided what.

So I've got 3 ....16 quart tubs of pans that look like they're ready to case and I'd really like your input how to proceed

I can either cut the bag off and case the top of it with Jiffy mix like a normal tub would be or I can case with Jiffy mix and just put the bag in the Martha ???
It's only taken a week for them to colonize this much should I give them more time or do you think they are ready now , would it hurt to give them a couple extra days
Also I've never pasteurized Jiffy mix before and that's what I plan on doing for these do you think that's a good idea

I hope to test out the horse vs cow poo debate. I'm working on a few monoculture plates, I'll move the best one to grains and make up enough jars from the same myc. That way its all the same except the poo.
I also want to try this for a substrate:
It's Rice hulls. Looks like cut straw, I think it will work.
