A boy my photos really suck but they're the best that I can take under those circumstances. this weekend when I do some agar transfers I'll get better ones
Agar plates 4 days old used spores on a q-tip in a X patern, first two are MEA second are MEA horse poo 50/50 mix

That looks amazing. I'm not even going to show my plates after that. Do you have a link to how you grow pans? I'm kinda collecting all the info I can on pan grows.

You can easily get wispy growth from cyans or cambos but these species are capable of producing thick cottony growth- you just have to select for it on the plate. The only Panaeolus species that I know of that ONLY gives wispy growth is bisporus.

Here are my current plates. If you have any advice, I defer to you completely
Should I isolate these more?

Hi Asura, Those are nice colonies but for symmetric colonies I find it easier to narrow the genetics first from the germination plate. I will respond more fully in the grow log: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/24997225#24997225

How about cinctulus. Never seen anything else with that one.

cinctulus mycelium is really cool, azura if you want make an interesting isolate, for me the easiest way is to fruit from multispores and clones your favorites..

I wish I were successful, but it probably won't happen. If it refuses to fruit after some time, I seriously plan planting grass seed into the jar to induce the most natural conditions possible.

That's only a couple weeks away for me, night and day temps are perfect right now. I found some foes yesterday, so it won't be long.

Yeah it is, I'm on the Florida/Alabama Gulf Coast, cubes are year round here, but that's the first cinctulus of the year.
