Last time I tried to run these, I got the same looking growth. I kept transferring but it only got a little better. Keep transferring? Switch agar? (mea in picture)

Those plates are fine. Temperature fluctuations have nothing to do with the appearance of those cultures. They are ready to move onto the next step.

Temp 68-72, Rh 50-70%. They stay in a controlled environment. Their exposed to light 6am-6pm. There 7days old. The rings and color are what get me. I don't have much experience with anything other then cubes. My woodlovers and pans on agar just throw me off. I'm going to take another transfer/expanded then I'll go to grain.

My pan. Bisporous grow had rings like a tree on agar, it was one of the prettiest plates I've had.

I like Horse poo, coir and verm. 12qt poo, 4qt coir, 4qt verm. Is how I mix it. You can add 1/2qt gypsum if you want.
I saw another recipe today I want to try, it on this thread. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/24940741
My agar is Malt dung agar
25ml of water 0.5g agar agar 0.5g malt extract (light dried) or 0.5ml malt extract syrup 0.25g powdered horse poo
Use 8oz jars
I should say the agar recipe was created by Stephen peele of the now defunct Northwest Florida mushroom research facility

Horse manure supplementation in the agar for pans is a good idea.

Regarding the plate in the lower right hand corner- have you considered transferring a wedge from the thick extension at ~ the 7 oclock position?

Tonight or tomorrow night I'll be making a bunch of transfers. I'll make sure and grab a wedge from that spot and label it. I was a little concerned of a contam, it was growing even for a few days, and then that just erupted out.
Maybe I'll try to get my tea agar and my dung agar tonight as well.

Will a 1:4 spawn ratio or higher like 1:6 really help with overlay or should I stick with 1:1?

I posted this awhile back I thought...Intrestingly he also advises using same amount chicken manure pellets as substitute in this video. Agar work starts at 4:48
