I guess save the water when dumped off and strategically dump it? Maybe something grows, maybe something doesn't. It would basically be GLI.

The old adage goes wet feet dry heads...we were taught to water the sub via syringe( not injecting just careful placement)

So far I have only done it with jars that looked possibly bacterial. I always figured if it rinsed any bacteria away it would be less bacteria to start with. Then I mixed into dryer sub. It usually worked out for me. I would drain off the water though. I also did it before shake and was gentle as it was meant to "rinse" away the metabolites and hopefully bacteria.
DISCLAIMER
I do not condone others to do this. I am not recommending this to anyone as away to fruit bacterial jars.

Hey guys, I'm about to do my first Pan grow. I've been reading up on them via this thread and the search engine for about 2 weeks. Do any of you guys have a piece of advice you wish someone told you when you grew them the first time?
My biggest worry is misting
The last page or so has been great info on that though.

if the moisture of your casing layer is at field capacity ,you can mist directly but lightly to maintain correct humidity until pins appear, then just mist your fruiting chamber only walls etc panaeolus doesnt like it to wet when its pining

Hey sho! No misting as stated and from what I'm gathering off my first project, warmer temps and high rh during fruiting to keep the fruit moist. Maybe pheasant or VL will chime in...they've got the nicest grows as of late.

I wasn't referring to you or anyone in particular, but since you're here, got any tips/pics from all your pan grows?

So I imagine someone has tried this, but I have not seen it yet. I have 2 jars of Pan cambo that I just recently started. These fucking cultures were like 18th transfer deep from MS. Who the fuck knows what will happen. But I am thinking getting some cow/horse poo, putting half full in QT jars and PC'n, hydrated of course to ~field capacity. Then G2P them and shake together. Then spawn to some trays or some shoeboxes or something. What you guys think?
