Hell yeah. I aspire to grow Pans like that. Little trays in a SGFC might be the key

Yeah, I had way more luck with small trays/dishes in the SGFC than I did in a mini-mono. Will probably try both again though. Would love get a mono sorted out for them and be able ditch perlite for good. Not holding my breath though...

Ive got more pans ready to fruit next week and i think im going to put them in a mono as normall but im also going to put small cheap containers of grass in with them to try and replicate a natural environment My problem hasn't been getting them to fruit my problem is keeping them at the right climate and humidity after they pin I'm thinking the grass might help keep moisture on them as well as some kind of symbiotic relationship I'm also going to inject the cakes with a syringe of water before Putting them in tubs and caseing

99, I saw on some other board where the farmer dunked the spawned grain before planting it and he had a much better yield. Had a side by side photo dunk & no dunk and the dunk was a much larger flush. He broke up the spawned grain and put it in a clean bucket of water for 10 - 20 min. and then drained it before miking it in the substrate.
I'm going to try this next time. I am also having difficulty in getting fruit. I even had pins o the top of the colonized tray but after i cased it it went no-ware.
I have 4 modified mono-tubs colonizing now. I will put down less casing.
I like your grass idea.

I was just Googling around and found it. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17616982 For some reason he was insistent to use Tap Water.

In that link I find a grow from cased grains. If you´re going to fruit from cased grains without bulk substrate then I can imagine that the tiny amount of extra water will be beneficial. But I don´t see this being beneficial to a bulk grow that has 4L water in it
Also seems like an unnecessary extra vector..

Just to clarify: that tek about Dunking does say "Spawn the grains to your sub as usual. "

I get that, but there doesn´t seem to exist any data that supports the theory that bulk grows would benefit from dunking grains. And it only adds another unnecessary step in cultivation that´s a waste of effort and adds an extra vector. I can tell you from tests that I have done myself that WBS that has been hydrated to the max in a hot soak wont really suck up any cold water in 10-20 min in a cold soak.

from my eyes the grains get a nice dunking from the bulk(water) you just spawned them too.

I do things a little differnt than most.. Everything i do is infront of my hepa so when i do spawn to bulk its really from one sterile bag in to another sterilized bag of bulk. It's only when I fruit and case that it's out of a sterile environment
My thoughts are to give it as much growth as possible before being exposed to contaminate
