Yes, for me Pans have been far less consistent than cubes, I think it makes them more interesting to grow.
Congrats on your grows! Looks awesome.
Trops are so cute, such a nice amber color
I finally got a tropicalis spore syringe myself.

Could NEVER get copelandias start, either with mss straight to grain or agar.
Ran 7 dishes of mss to agar and not a single plate germinated. Assume they didn't didn't like the MEA recipe.
Any recommendations for a good copelandia agar recipe?

Brf agar. Try 6g brf 9grams agar per 400-500ml
I also had issue with germinating on malt. But it was probably me, not the agar

Not sure how rare...maybe not a lot of grows. If I can get them to print I’ll reach out, but don’t hold your breath...never grown Pans so just winging it. Have 3 pins now...very small but the two that rose yesterday are growing quickly.

Sure man, I'm not in a hurry anyway. It's just one of the species on my "to do" list.
I've spawned Pan cinctulus to sterilized Hay 2 days ago. It is recovering nicely and hopefully I'll be able to fruit it. I'll post pics on here as soon as the colonization is more visible.

Awesome thanks! Thinking agar to grass seed, then casing with manure once colonized. Sound like a good plan?

Pan cinctulus recovery after 3 days. Seemed to have taken off quickly, but I would expect it to be more colonized at this point. Does it look good to you?

I believe that I have selected some genetics of Panaeolus cyanescens (15 transfers in) that actively forms something like psuedo sclerotia. I first noticed the occurence on older plates, 4-6 weeks old, but recently found an almost 2 month old grain master that has several of these formations. I’ll post pics when I’m home.

germs i on many occasions have pan cyan that form pseudo sclerotia. this seems to be a common occurance in pan cyan. pan goliath. it generally happens when your culture is overgrown.
