I believe we case with just 50/50 without the + because pans don’t need the pH adjustment. I don’t get any colonization of the casing with that

its funny the last syringe i got germinated only twice and both times the cultures crapped out. followed by months and months of bacteria or straight up mold. i used the syringe up just shooting into a pf pucks. nothing.
got fresh printed spores and they germinated asap and super clean fresh off the germ plate.
I am afraid my pan cambo culture grew to weak, it doesn't have the vigor it did before. I guess I may have to swipe some more spores. I know the pain

I don’t have tropicalis quite yet only cyanescens but when I spawn tubs I have them separated from my cubes with the temp around 72-76, about 5 degrees higher than the rest of the place using a small space heater running close by, they seem a little more robust growing at that temp vs whatever it usually is.
I wish we had basements here so I could experiment with cellar type grows. Or at least drastic temperature differences. Kinda limited with central heating and air

Basements are nice for creating little microclimates. I intend on attempting to grow some wood lovers down there when I have cultures I am comfortable with. Got this nice little nook under the front, that is only half as deep as the basement. It is on the west side of the house and gets just above freezing in winter. I am thinking this are would work good for azur, while I got some areas that stay around 50, which would work good for others.

I've found that many of the temperate species will fruit in artificial conditions that are much warmer than the natural fruiting conditions and moisture levels are more important than temperature drops for fruiting triggers.

Yeah man, I was making LC for the fuck of it and figured I'd try my Pan bi culture that way...I have a trop on grain doing poorly so figured I'd give this a shot. Looking good so far, I guess...no prior cult experience with Pans, so....

I'm gonna toss them in the GH...I'm worried it might be a tad cool, but we'll see how it goes....just picked up a space heater for the lab so the GH should run around 75F.
