Amazingly I found this Panaeolus cinctulus in an indoor potted plant fruiting from a bark/peat/compost mix, no manure at all.

The spores germinated readily on half strength MEA and these four dishes are second transfers and were all nice and clean, note the concentric rings of sclerotia forming.

Unfortunately I didn't get photographs of the grain jars which were Rye Grass Seed, there were quite good sized sclerotia and the smell and taste was quite nice compared to many of the Psilocybe species.

there is one container for each of the above cultures as a test, the substrate is equal parts compost, aged sawdust, CVG and half a part peat, I believe these will be colonised in less than ten days, small sclerotia are already starting to form in the substrate.

Also, for dosage of dried pan cyans... what have you guys found to be your sweet spot? Typically with cubes I take 3.5-4.5 grams and that’s pretty good. For pans I’ve always took around .9-1.2. That gets me to a level 3-4

Thanks fellas.

Devil, I didn’t really follow a tek, spores > agar > millet > spawned to coir/verm/manure compost at 40/40/20. Consolidated at 3 days and applied a 50/50 peat/verm casing layer, no lime or gypsum.

I accidentally forgot to turn the heat down in the second portion of pasteurizing the casing and by the time I checked, it had just started peaking at 170 and stayed there for 20 mins before coming down. Used it anyway and it bloomed trich less than a week later. Had I not shortcut myself this tub may have turned out great.
When I was harvesting and cleaning it out just now the sub itself looked great, it was the casing layer that was gnarly. The trich really took off this morning

33.7 grams wet, we’ll see what it dries too. Should be several grams, plenty enough for me.
Got more upcoming, just shook a nice master a couple days ago and recovery is looking smooth
