Yes those are all one week old except the first one which is 2 weeks old. Would you reckon I can transfer to grains next or is it worth doing more transfers to agar first? I have another 5 plates more with the same yellowing (10 total) that I can use.

I am going to refrain from commenting due to my lack of experience with pans

Universe Unknown, plate 1a almost looks good but there's some unevenness in the growth that may be a sign of lingering infection or not. plates 2a, 3a and 4a look ready to go though.

Great! Thanks for the responses Panarchist and everyone else.
Going to get some popcorn jars ready tonight so I can get some spawn going. Was planning on using rye originally but I can't find it in any stores near where I live and it seems popcorn should do fine from what I read. Hopefully I'll post back here with pics of my jars soon!

I had this jar of pan cyan i kinda forgot about in the back of my collection its from 8/30 so about 6 weeks old, I shook it like a week ago and now it’s developed this, almost resembles sclerotia? Not sure that pan cyan is a stone producer though so maybe it’s just bacteria/metabolites, but it definitely looks different. Gonna keep it around and see what happens

looks like mold reacting to bacteria pans do produce a pseudo sclerotia but I don't think that's what we're seeing

I really don’t think it’s mold, would have seen it already I think. The jar looked like the rest until I shook it and it recovered all weird, just gonna case and top fruit

I hope that works for you. from what I've read pans prefer thin subs. idk how well they'll top fruit

That’s what I’ve seen too, I read thru most of this whole thread and saw a post towards the beginning of some sizable fruits from a jar someone top fruited but not sure the conditions or what was used.
I’d just rather do that then mix one questionable quart with several others and get a shitty tub
