WOAH 99.99. Totally jelly. I should give my pan cyans another go. Do a transfer and make sure it's clean then drop it on grain. Hopefully I won't get mycogone sadness again. Cubes always do good for me.

Sensitive little bastards. I have to go buy some proper manure so I can try again. No more substrate. The manure I bought ended up having humus with a heaping side of mycelium and springtails. Lame. I think I'll get some coop poop cause it's dry and pelleted and doesn't smell and just cut down the ratio.

Best manure I have ever found is in a horse pasture.

140cc's of nice, thick, freshly aspired Panaeolus Cambodginiensis Sandose LC.

A 5 quart bag of sterilized whole oats inoculated with 20cc's of free-poured LC 7 days from inoculation WITHOUT a shake.

We also have a new canadate for elected official.

He is Australian, so we shall call him Mick Dundee. Mick Dundee has a cousin who was/is a large early bird pinhead (the first one that came up) who we shall call Peter Pan that's been cloned, also, about 2 days ago, and the dang thing has a culture the size of a nickel already. When pans are healthy, they are fast!

Very cool mutant 99.9. <3 Has anyone ever just kept recloning a series of mutants. Like just cloned a crazy mutant then cloned the mutant from that grow and so on. I'd be curious to see the effects.

I'm trying my hand at Pan. Cyan. so I thought I'd try to get some advice here. I grew out a couple plates, and transferred to grain. These plates are the second transfer. Do these plates look okay? They look different/weird around the edges...

Thanks, I actually transferred to grain rather than do more transfers. We'll see how it goes.
I transferred each of my 3 T2 plates to a pint grain jar. The idea was to fruit them all separately and see which does best, but I just realized I forgot to label which plate went to which jar.
Would you suggest I put all the grains together when I spawn to substrate or spawn each jar separately?

don't let your plates get so overgrown. you need to hit them up as soon as the transferable growth reveals itself. if you wait too long the infectious elements will catch up with the mushroom mycelium and negate any progress you might have made. in my experience it's usually around 3 or 4 days after the transfer was made that it will be ready for the next round. and whatever grainspawn you have that has a similar apparent healthiness can be spawned together but any that have some potential issues should be spawned separately.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I had to wait until I had time to prepare grains and the plates got a little overgrown. So much of this hobby is timing.
My plan originally was to grow out each plate separately and see which one fruits better on grain, then continue agar work from there. Maybe when I spawn each jar (assuming they make it that far) I'll put a grain from each on agar.
