It didn't go well for me. Open air grows require a lot of misting and any time I've misted pans they aborted.

As soon as my galindoi tubs and PE bottles get finished up I've got a pint of Pan bisporus about ready to g2g. Do pans do better in smaller trays, or would a mini mono be fine?

I'm gonna have both running at the same time.
I got two mini monos(27 qt) I just picked up at Walmart.
I also wanna try running some trays in my SGFC too, I got the small take-out trays you get from chinese food places. Its got a depth of just under 2". I wanna see how well they perform.
Might throw in some 6qt tubs in there as well.

So no pins or fruits? I'm not convinced of anything. Its easy to do what youve done so far. Still looks like black mold to me

Hello, I took some inner tissue from an in vitro primordia and for the first time I attempt to grow mycelium on agar.
I´m seeing Panaeolus mycelium or something else?

Just got back to the casa, to what appears to be the first flush. To be honest I'm alittle disappointed in this grow.. I expected the fruits to be alot bigger/thicker. Granted, I only used 1/3 cup of spawn.. Hopefully the 2nd flush is alot bigger. On the bright-side I saw a few sporelating specimens so went ahead and took a few prints. :)
Contemplating whether I should harvest now or in the morning..

I think that you are being too hard on yourself, for that much spawn...that looks pretty damn Impressive to me bro, but I don't know anything about this wonderful strain... Except I will eat them if ever I come across them...lol Anyway Good Job!!!

Or you could just grow them yourself
This thread has helped me better understand how pans should be grown. It was much needed in mush cult, as there are not many pan grow logs.
I was interested in growing exotics but not knowing where to start, and bam!, this thread came up and I started learning soo much more, which encouraged me to get started.
I'm actually going to put some pan cyan spores on agar today!!
