Followed the advice in this thread to get this tub and a few more. Is this ready for harvest or should I let caps open more. Ttbvi if that helps.
Thanks everyone!
Depending on temps, I would wait a couple days, for the caps to open up a bit more.
Just noticed, this applies to the second pic, the first seems about perfect. Is it the same tub and the camera is playing tricks on me?

Yup. Same tub. Maybe I should have taken a picture from another angle.

I dont see any spores dropping. Id like to make some prints and give back to the community. Not sure when to try printing though.

Little pointer when you do print these, they don’t print as easy as cubes probably because the cap is smaller which will mess with the humidity. They need humidity to drop. Put them on a tote lid on foil or whatever you use, and give them a good spray with water before putting the tote bottom on. You’ll get super dense prints every time

I'm having some success with generating poo/grain spawn and wanted to share. I got the idea from Baba's verm/brf top layer in his jars. But did my own thing with it with poo.
Basically, I mixed all my (sifted) manure and vermiculite together that would go with a brick of coir. 2 quarts of each. Hydrated until on the dry side of field capacity. But, adding water to the poo first to mix it well. Then adding the verm until the field capacity I wanted.
Loaded 200ml of boiled rye berries in the bottom of seven quart jars. Loaded poo and verm mix on top until at the 700-800 ml mark (it was light and fluffy and compressed quite a bit after I shook it). PCd 90 minutes at 17psi after venting for ten minutes.
Monday, I dropped wedges of Bisporus and TTBVI onto this top layer of poo/verm. I let the wedges recover and gave them another day or two (my memory sucks as I go more by sight than time) after to crawl off onto the poo and start colonizing it. I then shook the hell out of the jars.
Today (two days after shake), I'm seeing spots of wispy growth in several places in all of the jars and think they'll probably be spawned to coir by this time next week if the growth continues at this rate. And this is in a cold bedroom I've been having to get creative with water tubs and reptile heaters to get pins to form over the winter.
So, while the time scale may not be stellar, it's by far the fastest I've seen with the experiments I've ran and I'm quite happy considering the temperatures.
I'll take some pictures next time I do some jars if anyone is interested. And get some pictures of my colonized jars once the growth is a bit denser.

So... i harvested today but there was a problem.

Despite misting every day, overnight a lot of the shrooms turned blue and stopped growing. They had obviously dried out. Is there anyway to recover from this? Aside from misting heavier and 2x a day, should I bottom water? Can thus be saved?

Drip water down the side? Just a little? How long do I wait before draining?

Have 8 jars of Rye Prepped, Knocked up a jar of LC from the TTBVI T1 when I did the Transfers to T2. 1 of the Florida Blue Springs and Texas Titan T1's look a little suspect. Hopefully be sending some of these to grain soon, so I can join the Pan Party

Here's some TTBVI on the poo/verm/rye berries I mentioned above.

Same culture started the same day on just rye berries.

The room temperature probably is averaging mid to high sixties with occasional low 70s when my gf runs the heat upstairs. I think both of these jars would be colonizing much faster otherwise.
But the poo jar is way way faster. If it was denser I'd get a better picture but the top is over half colonized and the rest of the jar is showing signs of growth all over.
The straight grain looks like it's barely moved post shake (I shake once or twice, once after the wedge or lc recovers and colonizes the spawn a little and once more at 70% if it needs it to get any spots that are slow and check for contamination, if the 70% shake doesn't recover quickly it's garbage basically).
Anyway, both jars got an early shake. One is going ballistic. The other not so much.
Edit: When I prep more jars I'll take lots of photos and break it down so people can borrow or steal as they like for their own grows. Appreciate all of the insight and feedback from everyone in this thread!
Thanks everyone for helping me learn to grow these beautiful mushrooms.

I would take a cup of water and just dump it right on the sub, meanwhile, try to get my Martha more in tune, and then drain the next day.
And damn tree frog, looking good! Keep us updated

I'm also experimenting with poo in spawn. Doing about 50/50 by volume. Made some jars and will inoculate tomorrow with SSLC. My temperatures are even a bit lower than yours.
@fraki58 I've seen that also. No clue what causes it. Spawn seemed clean though and should be about to flush.
