Have a game plan because they move super fast. I recommend frank's proper pasteurization tek for your manure and casing.

Thanks this is useful information (for me). The pics are not too different from my current Bispo grow. This is the third attempt - the others contam'd after a long time of doing-it-wrong.
Looks like you are running unmodified tubs, shoe boxes? EDIT: have you run dub-tubs? If so, do you use the same "strategy"?

I didn’t see this until now! Sorry about that but yeah I dub tub panaeolus species using 12/6qt shoeboxs with some holes in the top tub for fae. Nothing too special. Pan Bisporus, cinctulus and Estero have loved it so far. Pan jams are coming up next to the plate.

 Colour me shocked and awed
Just had a peak to see if any myc had popped through the casing and thought to myself “I swear I made that shit smooth af” big lumps in both tubs where the pins are pushing through, did I even need to case these?

Yes. They are so fast. It’s crazy. I’m still working up the courage to try them.

Oh yeah, given what I’ve heard I’ll just be starting with .5, I’m usually happy at 1g with most pans anyway.

Man does pan myc look diff. Maybe its the ms showing.
Going to go 50/50 composted cow+horse manure (comes in bags, hope it works), coir, to shoeboxes straighto fruiting, trying to get some pins to clone atleast.
It's a bit hard to tell exactly what contam you have but my guess is penicillium at middle right

Got my first spawn jar ready to go Nec-D. Anyone use black cow auccessfully? How much should I use to mix into my coir after pasteurizating? I also have alfalfa pellets I could use to supplement if that’s be better. Or I could get some straw?
I also have verm and peat moss I use for casing, so which combination of these would make the best sub? Oh, and HWFP, but I doubt those could help any
I also have some organic potting compost

I would keep it simple to begin with. People have used Black Kow with success. I’d go 50/50 Black Kow/CV. Mix together and then a sprinkling of CV on the top to cover any exposed grains. Save the peat and some verm for your casing along with a little bit of hydrated lime to bolster PH.

Id like to thank god, my parents, Supa, and the rest of you here at shroomery.
It only took a year, but ive succeeded. At both pans and nats. On the same day no less. Its crazy how things work out. Persistence will always overcome whatever resistance the universe puts up.

Unrelated but here are my nats finally pinning after a year of inexplicable failure.
